| This adorable figurine is of 2 kittens, 1 larger than the other, peeking out of a woven basket encircles by a pottery rope at the foot and one also 3/4 of the way up on the basket.The bottom of the figurine looks like it was poured in a mold and then the mold poured kitten heads were attached to the top. The texture of the kittens hair has been glazed on. The negative areas of the basket have been recessed in the clay. There is a silver label on the bottom which has a 5 point crown, then DELFT'S BLAUW and around the circular bottom of the label, Holland Souvenir. |
