Kronimus Checkerboard Bakelite Bangle Offering a beautiful Checkerboard Bakelite Bangle by Howard Kronimis, a modern designer using old bakelite. This bracelet is a three row checkerboard bakelite bangle in black and green with a black inside. Besides being signed inside with HK, it has his signature with a single black slice. It measures 1" wide with 3/8 inch walls and his ID about 1 1/4 inches. The black inside wall is 3/16 inches wide. A beautiful piece. Howard Kronimus along with his daughter Karen have been making jewelry out of old bakelite for several years. Karen and Howard live in New York in the summers and winter in Florida. I first met his daughter Karen several years ago at Country Walk during the annual Bouckville NY week long antique show. A great bracelet to add to your collection.
