Circa: 2000 Condition: Good Manufacturer: McFarlane Toys Offering a great set of figures by McFarlane Toys. McFarlane Toys produced the incredible line of Where the Wild Things Are action figures based on the childrens book by Maurice Sendak. Each 5-6"" inch figure includes accessories detail and nice articulation. Authentically Styled From The Classic Book! The set I am offering includes Aaron, Bernard, Moishe, and Emil with Max, Goat Boy Tzippy as bonuses. Max, Goat Boy(no tail), and Tzippy have been over played with and have been repaired. In the land of the Wild Things, imagination and creativity takes hold. Sent to his room without supper, Max is moved into the land of the Wild Things. Here he meets and befriends the monstrous inhabitants of the land, even becoming king! Ruling a land is great and all but Max finds himself becoming homesick and lonely.

| Giving up his title as king and saying goodbye to his friends, Max returns to his house to find supper waiting on the table for him and the land of the Wild Thins waiting for another day when its king may return. Very Rare Series! Long Retired and Hard to Find! The wild things--with their mismatched parts and giant eyes--manage somehow to be scary-looking without ever really being scary; at times they're downright hilarious. These sets were intended for the collection shelf This line of Where the Wild Things Are figures are very detailed and do look just like the illustrations in the book. PLEASE NOTE: They are not for play, and not durable for play, but are really lovely as a nostalgia shelf figure. Very nice keepsake, and built more to admire on a shelf. |
