Old (1930's) Chinese Export Ivory Carved Chess Piece 8 Immortals Lu Tung-Pin
It is 3.45 inches (8.5cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3cm) wide.
It is in good condition with no repairs, chips, or cracks, except flea bites at the base (as seen in the photos).
Lu Tung-Pin, born c. 755 AD, died 805 AD, shown with a fly-whisker, is dressed as a scholar, and honored as such. He also had a magic sword with which he performed freak feats, for which reason he is also the patron deity of barbers.
