Vendome to die for! This is the prettiest pin I have ever seen. Well, maybe I have spent too long in a Minnesota winter and the spring colors appeal. The stones are big, open-backed and in 2 shades of spring green besides the clear and white - then the stamens with green tops....alll are prong-set, even the tiniest ones. Marked Vendome with gold finish and safety clasp, it measures about 2 1/4 each way. Like new and there have to be earrings to match out there somewhere.

JJ: the mystery manufacturer made this cute 1 1/4 inch beetle? pin with safety clasp. Great detail on the head and wings, purple enamel with green glass eyes. The back view is not so authetic but I tried to show the circles C JJ. Excellent condition.

Maybe this bird is a nest robber, strafing some poor little wren. Note how the head and beak are turned up? It is definitely meant to be worn with the tail up. Nearly 3 inches long and has a wingspan of 2 1/2. It has a pretty moonstone, the rhinestones are in good condition, and so is the enamel for the most part. There are a couple of minor wounds on the lower part of the red breast, no doubt as a result of his robbing activites. It's white metal under the enamel and has a safety clasp. Very good condition.
P.S. The day after I wrote this text, I stumbled across the same pin in an old (no color) book by Harrice Simons Miller: COSTUME JEWELRY, 1990. It was listed as unsigned Coro from 40's. My price is a LOT less than hers!

Stem and leaves on this Lil' Elmo flower pin. 3 inches long and 1 3/4 across the petals. Only one or two little dings on enamel and check that shading! Jewels are in fine condition too. 2nd images shows mark on back.

Sarah outdid herself on this one. It sparkles and the bottom is a2 jointed swinger! 3 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 across. Rhinestones show no age and picture of back tries to show signature as well as rhodium finish. Excellent condition.

Here's to spring! Minty colored Coro dress clips with molded glass flowers (some look like lily-of-the-valley) are ringed with dainty enameled green flowers and leaves. Metal looks like rodium, all shiny and they measures 1 1/4 x 1. Very pretty and an unusual look in dress clips. $29 each, both for $50.

These big, showy earrings are not bent as pictures show (I laid them down). They hang down straight 0- almost 2 inches and sparkle like new. Screwbacks are marked Coro and appear to be rodium which puts them in the 30's or 40's, I think. Nevertheless, they are like new.

Beautifully goldfilled and detailed pinecone has long needles too. Signed C.R. & Co. and in excellent condition -like never worn. 1 1/2 x 1 inch, safety clasp. Probably not antique but quality workmanship.

Gorgeous 22 inch string made by Vogue is loaded with faceted cranberry aurora beads spaced with hexagon lengths with show green, silver, gold and more and knots between each bead.
Jewels cover the clasp with V spring and looks like it is an earring!

What a joy to look at this 40's piece of Crown Trifari. It's a vermeil fur clip, marked sterling, and has a cascade of sparkly blossoms from a ribbon and leaves. I replaced one of the larger stones and they are now looking very good. Some of the small glued ones have aged but but who's looking when you have those glorious flowers? Big: 3 x 2 2 1/2 inches.

Cllp earrings have the Hobe' traditional pazazz and quality? Oh, yes! They measure 1 inch in diameter and all but little clear stones are prongset. Even some aurora boreolis. Like new. A somebody out there has a bracelet to match.

This gorgeous Coro duet is in perfect condition:
metal's not worn, no scratches on pink and green paint and the rhinestones are all there and in good condition. Pat. # is 1798867 which would be 1932 and I believe this is for the mechanics of the back.
Please note the cute purple centers inside the rhinestones of the pink flowers.

Bet earrings to match this sparkly spring necklace are out there somewhere. I finally figured out that the mark is Florenza and I would guess 50's. I replace one of the tiny pink stones, otherwise perfect. Antique white looks no more antique than intended. Adjustable chain to 15 1/2. Good addition to you signed costume jewelry collection.
