This beauty measures 38 inches so it can be doubled and have a screw clasp to help the process. I love the brass - ripply flat pieces between clear glass rondelles, pierced balls and caps and the striking elongated pieces, all hooked up with rosary chain. Besides the clear glass, there are long foiled beads of blue and amber.

This old glass long strands of art beads are often found with cracks and chipped ends - as were these so I have removed the damaged ones and it is now about 30 inches long and in very good condition. These on the ones done by hand (in Czechoslovkia, I think) with wires twisted in between beads - neat trick - very old.

60 inches of hand-knotted dark topaz or amber colored beads make this necklace an smashing piece by itself. But add a huge (almost 2 inches) cut glass pendant with the fanciest filigree cap ever, then top it with a large cut aqua bead with filigree caps .... and Wow! Knotted necklace is in excellent condition and big pieces have only a few microscopic dings. Just saw Czech necklace In COSTUME JEWELRY by Leshner, page 91 with same fabulous brass cap - so I guess this is Czech for sure.

How very spring-like are these carved beads! I have been peering and testing for days and still don't know if it is painted wood or a composite but it is really fun - and well carved. 16 1/2 inches with spring clasp and very good condition. Maybe Czech if it is wood.

Yes, they are red glass and they have green glass leaves too. Silver finished chain is adjustable with a claw clasp (so maybe not very old). Peppers are 1 inch, leaves 3/4. Beads don' appear to be glass - composite?

52 inches of nice old orange beads are strung together with twisted wire can be looped to form a double strand. Or maybe knotted? I believe the big ones are handblown to get the cute black stripes. May be Czech. Very good condition.

No, they're not glass beads, they're real pearls and have a gorgeous luster but they seemed to fit into the bead category. 18 inches of restrung and knoted beauty with a goldfilled clasp.
I love their irregularity - especially the little bump on the left toward the bottom. Excellent condition.
