For the dainty wrist, this 6 inch openback, blue crystal bracelet is marked sterling on the back of the box spring. I suspect that at least one link has been removed from this to make it smaller than usual. Very pretty.

7332

Made in Ireland is stamped on the back of this sterling? hallmarked pin. I am not up on my Irish lore so I can't expain the significance of the symbols but I am sure they ARE significant. Pin is beautifully made by J.M. Co. and has 3 unreadable halmarks. 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 with an old tubular hinge and double C clasp. (clasp looks like a safety clasp without the middle mechanism but there is no sign of it having had the middle piece). Clasp hold sell. Very good condition.

Oval pin is 1 inch long with pink stone that appears to be glass - minuscule flaw shows under loupe. Silver doesn't shine like sterling so lesser silver or nickel. But it is cute! C clasp.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item 9499: Large Antique Silver Mystery Pin
Click for more detail...
9499

The mystery here regards who made it and where did it come from. 2 inches in diameter, with flowers and leaves, it is marked PNS and 826 and has a large S stamped into it. The S means sterling, I believe, and maybe the 826 is style but I can't find the PNS in my book. Decoration on edges looks a little Scandinavian to me, or English, Mexico? Very old w barrel hinge and C clasp. Pretty green opaque tones may be chalcedony or chrysoprase - or glass?
