Never seen before! At least by me in books or in person, this lapis blue glass Czech necklace has a hook clasp in front and a 2 inch dangling bead with patterned brass cap. Then there are the 2 clasping medallions, curved to fit the neck, of fancy brass set with 3 styles of stones. And I haven't even mentioned the double pierced caps in the round beads farther up. This necklace was a little over 12 inches (short!) until my clever artist frient added a small ring between each bead. Now the beads show better and it is almost 15 inches long.

Czech butterfly wing pin from the 20's is the real thing - not the later ones with palm trees. The colors are incredible - but I am not sure if it is a fine imatation of wing or for real. Measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 including the fancy edging. Looks like it might have been guilded but none remains so it has an antique brass finish that can be polished. Silvered back is stamped Made in Czechoslovakia - intesting - I have see these marked England and Bermuda but never Czech. Glass is in excellent condition, edging is bent a little on one of the longer sides. C clasp. Included pictures of 2 other butterfly wings pieces so you can decide if the Czechs were butterfly killers or good fakers.

2 x 1 3/8 inches, Oval Czech filigree pin of antiqued gold finish is studded with multi-colored prongset stones and large center amethyst is openbacked. Trombone clasp, Czech mark, excellent condition

Very attractive Czech red necklace has the usual rosary links and wonderful figree. Measures 14 inches plus one inch across the oval medallion. Jump ring is stamped Czech.

Large clear crystals in open back prong settings make this Czech clip a stunner. Sparkles beautifully. Metal looks like brass with a gold wash. 2 1/8 x 1 5/8 inches, Excellent condition.

Interesting that this Czech 4 links totaling 7 inches has an Arts and Craft background for the white and purple enamel and rectangular faceted amethyst stones (openback). One purple stone has a tiny chip on the corner - visible but not noticable without careful look. See closeup. This flaw is considered in the pricing of this rare find.

I don't know for sure that these are Czech - I am guessing but I surely can picture the stringing and twist of the wire construction as a cottage industry product. About 44 inches with 6 small colored beads between the many blown oval beads. Often the ends of the beads get chipped but I found only one small one so very good condition.

Lovely old topaz pendant on filigree background has a small round topaz stone at each corner of the large bezel set stone (1 5/8 in length). Only miniscule dings on the edge of one cut glass surface of stone - you have to look at it from the side and with a loupe to see them - can't even feel them. The not-so-original chain measures 20 inches.

1 1/2 x 1 inch, this pin is framed by a brass leaf pattern both front and back The openback faceted stom of aqua is large, bezelset and without dings. C clasp.

From my private stock - "The Empress Collection" - the name I gave to items that I have matched over the years and worn together.
I found these 2 Czech style (but probably before 1917) necklaces in 2 different states and the earrings many years later. I have tampered - made the chains longer so smaller one fit inside the other to wear, as seen. The earrings were screwbacks which I hate, so I converted them to hooks. Rare, hand assembled parue'!

Of course this is Czech with its molded jade glass and lovely brass findings but the spring clasp and jump ring are new so there's is no proof. This necklace came to me in pieces so while I was having it restrung, I added jade beads from my stash so that it is an appropriate length (22 inches) for the large pendant (1 3/8 x 2 inches). Excellent restored condition.

This pin sure looks like Czech, but no marks. The oval 3/4 cabochon center ston is a "Czech blue" - the lapis look, and is set in machined metal with openwork. The pointed ends hold some decorative work and the top and bottom shine with a bezel set blue rhinestone. 2 x 1 1/4 inches, safety clasp and very good condition -the glass is flawless.

Not just your ordinary Czech wooden bead pin (though they are pretty wonderful) this one has more and brighter colors, and much more variety in shapes than many pins do. I especially like the little square beads topped with seed beads. Measures 1 5/8 in diameter and pin back is obviously a replacement.
