I don't even know what to call this ornament - I guess it is a pin if you want to punch 2 back pieces through fabric and apply round heads to hold it in place - would work for pre-punch belt also. My attempts to show back, playing with contrast, make it look washed out but it certainly isn't! The front has bezeled or prong set jewels of red, green, purple and topaz with corner cabouchons of a semi- opaque red. Then there is the blue enamel and finely patterned brass. And, ta-da, that amazing turqoise (not real) crown with an elevation of nearly 1/2 inch and 1 inch across the oval. Overall pin measures 3 1/4 x 2 1/4. It is breathtaking.

I think it was the Czechs that did this as a cottage industry in the early 20th century. 45 inches long - enough to double without clasp. Large beads have pretty accents blown into them. Excellent condition. See more of these in Bead Category.

A Small pair of clips stamped Czech on metal backs have shiny fronts of topaz cut and mirrored glass mounted on black glass. They are 1 1/4 inches long and very sparkly - no moister behind stones. The tip of topaz on one has a tiny, tiny (use loupe!) chip. You can feel the chip but it doesn't show upless you peer closely. Price is for pair and considers flaw.

Yep! You guessed it. The clasp on this Art Deco necklace is marked Czecho-Slovakia which dates it in the 1920's. Measures 15 inches and has openbacked settings, chain and bail in a silver finish. I have had the p1 1/4 pendant polished to perfection and it is in excellent condition. Box & spring jeweled clasp.

This is a beautiful example of Czech brass filigree and sparkling cut glass stones. It measures a heafty 2 inches in diameter and the openbacked glass jewels are set with fancy prongs. Back has one of the long rolled C clasps and pin stem is stamped - tries to say Made in czechoslovakia but it's hard to hit all points when stamping a tiny round stick of metal! Excellent condition.

I am pretty sure this molded glass is Czechoslovakian - I have seen beads of this electric yellow. Small pointy black stones at each corner. Measures 1 7/8 x 1 1/4 inches with a C clasp. Silver metal finish and very good condition.

This green Czech pin is great with marcasites on each end, along with a narrow stripe of green and light purple - those guys did love to put purple with green! 1 1/2 inches by 7/8, open center and C clasp. Excellent condition, marked.

This lovely amethyst pendant, marked Czech got separated from it necklace - luck I have a large stash of salvaged Czech beads. The pendant is now reunited with amethyst cut glass beads, connect with rosary links as it once was. I believe it is authentic now but I have considered by intervention in pricing. 16 inches, spring clasp.

Beautiful sparkling medium blue of faceted glass is set with 6 fancy facets in the center of his extravagantly decorated Czech pendant.
Openback stone is surrounded with loads of cluster rhinestones and fancy metal. Center is about 1 1/4 inches long, pedant is 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 and chain measures 24 inches with spring clasp. The WOW factor is high! I beieve it was once had a silver was but you can only see a bit on the back now.

Ever so pretty Ventian necklace is a soft green with metallic gold and those wonderful little pink roses. 18 inces with small green beads and decorative links leading to the big ovals. Then the drop really drops - 3 1/2 inches in middle. The 2 outer teardrops are something I have never seen with clear glass blown around the smaller ovals and roses. Larger oval anchors the drops and is 1 inch by 5/8 with a drift of pink on each side of metallic ribbon. Spring clasp, silver caps. Some oxidation on caps but still very good condition.

Yes, of course you recognize this as Czech and the jump ring confirms it. Rosary links connect the cobalt beads and the round ones have a small brass ring between them. Flatbacked stones decorate the pendant and are a shade lighter, possibly by design so they show up better - but maybe just a different dye lot. Gold wash is in very good condition. measures 16 inches with an added 2 inches of pendant and dangles. Spring clasp.

Here is a necklace with round beads of 3 sizes in the dark, rich red often seen in Czech work - but alas, no mark. The smallest beads are snuggled into each end of pierced brass fittings, constructed by rolling flat metal into tubes. Measures a bit over 16 inches and has a bullet shaped clasp with a V spring. Very good condition.

What a pretty cut oval pin of opaque glass. It is not marked but it is that typical Czech red and the setting is right too. It measures 1 1/2 x 1 inch and has a C clasp, fancy prongs and openback. Excellent condition - no chips or scratches.
