Haven't seen one of these for a long time and this pretty pastel bracelet features lily of the valley - one of my favorites.
Stamped Japan, it is a molded strip fused perfectly in one spot under the flowers, seen only from the back. Diameter is 2 `1/2 inches and condition is excellent.

folk costume. Colorful pattern overlays a ivory plastic bangle. Inside tag, in addition to Brandt Design, says made for Valsrome, France.

Lots of carved dtail on this Lucite horse pin - even a nostril! The eye is carved too, then painted and very nicely too. Horsey measures 3 inches each way and has a cutout between reins and neck. The only visible scratch is a straight one across the nose just above the nostril and it is visible only when held to the light. Against any color or even white, it doesn't show. Very good condition.

I have never seen celluloid in such fancy form or color. This amazing necklace is a 3 dimensional cornacopia - doesn't that yellow thing on the lower left look like a squash? There's fruit too. I am sure of the dangling blue grapes and I think the raised red circles are apples. Even the background leaves are raised and I think all of the coloring (with the possible exception of the grapes) is painted on with great style. Detail is great - look at the little slide on the grosgrain ribbon; even that gets a dainty little leaf. I assume the ribbon started out as black since the background of the slide and pendant are black, but then there is no evidence of faded black. condition is excellent and it has to be around a 100 years old with that ribbon and slide. The pendant does not lie completely flat: maybe it is a bit warped or maybe it is meant to curve. Rare, indeed.

Pretty little celluloid screw back earrings are roses in cora - perfect to wear with other coral celluloid jewelry. Backs are flat so it would be eay to convert to posts. Very good condition.

Nothing retiring about this necklace of bright orange celluloid(?) deeply carved to expose white interiou of balls that look like they ought to be in space receiving radio signals. There are several other syles of orange and white beads as well as silver metal discs inserted between some beads. Beads closest to the barrel clasp are silver and necklace is 17 inches long. Finishing knot shows a bit at one end but otherwise it is in great shape.

See the silk ribbon with white and black blocks - how very unusual. Pierced celluloid heart of "French ivory" hangs on ribbon. Ribbon shows some age with a brownish tint in spots, heart is like new.

This Bakelite necklaces shouts Christmas! Red and green pieces, sliced at an angle, are composed of mottled green Bakelite and solid red. Rectangular pieces measure 1 1/4 x 12 inch and oval pieces are 1 x 1 1/2 inch and joined by flatsided chain links. 18 inches long, excellent condition. 18 inches length,

Pastels of pink and green decorate this celluloid molded flower bangle which measures 5/8 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Excellent condition.

This mottled blue and solid green Bakelite necklace has fancy brass findings and is 20 inches long with an additional 4 1/2 inches added by the Bakelite pendant and yet another 2 1/2 inches by the dangling chains. Blue and green beads are Bakelite also but round stone on pendant is Peking glass. The 2 greens do not match - with the Bakelite being a bit more olive. Fancy large cast brass links are finished on both sides and brass piece applied to pendant is fancy - detailed with ribbon, bow and more. Spring clasp, excellent condition.

This brown marbled celluloid bracelet is 2 3/8 diameter and carved on the bypassing ends. Doesn't give much so 2 3/8 is the space the hand has to fit through. Excellent condition.

Big fat Bakelite Clips - a pair of them - measure 2 3/4 x 2 inches and are a deep carmel color. They are sustantial in weight. The brass leaf overlaid on the carved Bakelite is detailed: veins and sawtooth edges and it measures 1 1/2 x 1/4. embossed clip back is half moon shaped and firmly pegged into Bakelite. Excellent condition. $35 each or both for $60.

Narrow pink and lavander ribbon is molded into this Lucite bracelet to form pretty stripes. Circular shape is flattened on 2 sides for comfort in wearing. 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Excellent condition.

This child's toy watch of mottled yellow celuloid clips on the wrist, then closes with notched overlapping ends. Beautiful brass piece holds the Roman numeral "watch face" with metal tabs and then is attached to plastic with pins. Cute, but don't count on it to get you to school on time! Oval shape measures 2 1/8 x 1 1/8.
