This clip is green, pale yellow and black stripes. A very unusual knotted clip of extruded (or squirted if you prefer) plastic. 3 x 2 inches. No flaws or damage - that's tough stuff!

This is the classiest Lucite Pin I have ever seen - an elegant lady's hand with blood red nails and a lacy etched cuff "embroidered" with red and green paint. 2 inches by 3 3/4, the C clasp is behind the cuff so it doesn't show through and the hand then turns gracefully down. Excellent condition - oops - she chipped a nail - so very good condition. (Don't worry, it doesn't show). No scratches.

This might be called a paperweight pin. It's applejuice Bakelite with a high dome that covers a 3 dimensional flower backed by carved or raised sunrays. Pin is 1 1/2 inch square and dome is at least 3/4 inches high. Back is covered with black metal disc, presumably to reflect back into the domed pin. c clasp is pegged into back and set ant an angle across one corner. Excellent condition and quite unusual.

Yummy looking butterscotch Bakelite bracelet has a little wood inset so you get your fiber.
It is the usual 2 ½ inches in diameter and 3/4 inches wide. It’s quite thick ( see pictures) and outer edge is cut to 1 1/4 inch long chunks to make it an octagon on the outside edges . Each of the 8 sides has a 3/8 inch wide piece of natural wood finish with a black painted Deco look design. The black of 2 of the wood inserts is blurred or faded like it got wet or rubbed off. Doesn’t show except on very close examination but I have considered it in pricing.

This red carved Bakelite dress clip has a definite curve to it and the clasp curving with it, is screwed into the back. 7/8 inch by 1 1/2 inches (measuring straight across rather than following the curve). Excellent condition.

This wonderful celluloid bird - maybe a great blue heron - it was a mystery as to its function until I found an similar one with a pinback. She now has is a pin and I can forget about wondering how it could stay in as a hair comb. Notice I referred to it as she - what else with all the rhinestone adornment! One more mystery - there is a line across her neck, cut into the plastic. did she have a bow there? Or maybe it is a stork and there was a harness.

This is the most amazing piece of Egyptian Revival "jewelry" I have ever see - and part of it is missing! Second image show back and you can see where leather fringe was glued to fall beween the bottom teeth. Not hard to replace if you wanted the full effect. But it is not a comb - there are 2 tiny holes in the top corners. I believe they were used to sew it to a sash or belt. This little piece of fashion is 7 inches long and curved, and about 3 inches up and down. Think it was part of a stage or movie (30's) costume?
It could definitely serve as your lucky scarab. Probably celluloid, excellent condition.

This sparkling beauty is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and studded with rows of like new blue rhinestones. Hat ornament is from 20's or 30's yet in excellent condition. Pin point must have had a screw on tip but it's not there now.

This celluloid pin looks like a question mark that didn't know when to quit. This big question is 3 inches by 2 and the rhinestones embedded in the plastic are like new. Gold paint on inner and outer tips shows some whear, but who looks at that with those rhinestones? Simple clasp.

More sparkly plastic clip earrings from the 50's. These have a coating of an antique pearly gold or brown and the rhinestones are positively blinding. A bit of the antiquing has worn off some edges but otherwise, very good condition. These would be easy to convert to posts too.

3 inches, wing to tail, this cute old 30's bird pin is made of light bluish green celluloid with darker accents. Red paint defines the beak and red rhinestones provide other highlights. Very good condition.

Bakelite bracelet of deep green (spinach) marbled with yellow or butterscotch is thick walled (1/4), 3/8 inch wide with flat sides and measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Excellent condition.
