Somebody lost track of Great, Great Grandma in this photo on glass portrait. I would guess it is mid-1800's judging by hairdo and dress.
It really is gold thickly rolled over patterned frame and folded on back as shown in image 2. Looks like photographer tinted a little pink on Grandma's cheeks. Excellent condition. 3 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches.

This pretty etched fob (both sides) is thin, about an inch long and 3/4 inch across the base and goldfill looks very good. A spring clasp attaches it to a 12 inch goldfilled chain with a swivel marked SRS.

Hang a fob on this one! It is really neat with 3 dimensinal flat pieces and hinges with a stamped fancy triangle, finished on both sides at each end.3 inches x 1. Only a little wear on end pins and rings. Signed

More fobbery and this one is fabulous. It is gold-filled, hangs on wire that looks like solid gold, and is set with a curved carnelian with a black moss agate on the back. Both sides are pictured for your inspection. The only wear shows up on seams where 2 halves sandwich together. 1 inch x 3/4 and stones measure nearly 3/4 x 1/2 with no chips or scratches.

Goldfilled fob has the emblem of the Knights of Maccabees brotherhood, one of the fraternal organizations popular at the end of the 1800's. Chain is a bit over 2 inches and shows some dings in the gold fill. Fob is almost an inch in diameter, finished on both sides with a ring of mother of pearl around the emblem looks like a Crusader's tent.

Ornate man's vest or watch accessory of German silver has scroll-look pieces, finished on both sides, 5 chains of 2 styles draped from end pieces and threaded through a fancy 1 1/4 in long center piece where they slide - the better to drape, I guess. Silver tassel on one end too. Yes, a man might want it, but I think it would make a great necklace with a chain attached to each end. I even have a silver chain of the box type which would match one style of chain beautifully. Very good condition.

The Slide on this must go over a belt because it doesn't clip. Chain is 4 inches, Vest chains and fob are 2 3/4. Swivel is stamped OFB? Fob measures 3/4 inches, etched decoration on side but not inscribed to stamp. Swivel shows some wear but gf has held up very well otherwise.

GP is etched on this tiny fob (3/8 x 1/4)and it is 3 inches long with a medallion that is not enscribed. Another 4 1/2 inches includes the chain and swivel which is stamped Hayward. Goldfilled and in very good condition.

Here is fancy, high quality fob chain with heavy gold-fill, decorated in an ornate rolled gold pattern - finished on both sides. Even the large spring ring is especially attractive. Chain is 5 inches and needs a jump ring added at bottom - easy to do. Very good condition - wear to gold is only visible under a loupe.

This canoe has its paddle too. It's done in yellow enamel while the canoe is blue and rest on the green shore. The water is white and has a couple of "waves" or lines. Otherwise, very good conditiion. 1 1/4 inches.

Wonderful watch fob is made of highly polished tiger eye on one side and has a black intaglio foa heroic-looking figure with an unusual headpiece. Gold-filled and hinged to permit opening for pictures - or poison pills if you prefer. Tigereye stone is beautiful! Hanging from a corner bail, fob measures 1 1/2 inches including ornate work and 1 inch from corner to corner of square. 3/4 across square. Very fine condition, only microscopic wear on gold filling.

This pretty little fob (1/2 x 1/2 inch) has not been etched with initial either on the bottom or the medallion that tops the 2 inches of chains. Goldfilling is still nice and swivel is inscribed D.F.B.
