I believe this yummy red strawberry is Lucite - doesn't smell under hot water. The stem is metal and painted green with gold edges. The golden "seeds" are somehow sunken into the berry, not just glued or painted on. Maybe molded as par of berry and then gold added? About 1 1/2 inches long and 1 1/8 across with some dips so it looks even more like the real thing. Chain measures 24 inches and is not original. |
