Here is a mystery sew-on of ivory and marbled aqua celluloid. See the 2 buttonholes on the ivory stick? All I can imagine is using it as a hat decoration, although a clerk told me that her family used something like this for a letter opener. Aqua head is 1 1/4 inches long and ivory point is 3 inches. Second enlarged picture shows the back of head with a seam between aqua and ivory - my guess is the ivory point was glued in here. If you are a button collector, this should add a little spice to your collection!
