This wonderful celluloid bird - maybe a great blue heron - it was a mystery as to its function until I found an similar one with a pinback. She now has is a pin and I can forget about wondering how it could stay in as a hair comb. Notice I referred to it as she - what else with all the rhinestone adornment! One more mystery - there is a line across her neck, cut into the plastic. did she have a bow there? Or maybe it is a stork and there was a harness. |
