What a collector's item this silk hankie is, especially if you appreciate the importance of Goblenz as the center of the Czech glass industry in the first half of the 20th century. Dark green silk square of 7 inches in handpainted with message: "Souvenier from Goblenz, To my dear Sister, 1919." An additional 1 3/4 inches of beatiful ecru bobbin lace surrounds the silk. Condition is good considering age - lace has one weakended spot on edge and a few small brown marks on one corner. Silk has 3-4 weakened spots on one fold and a small round water stain that went through all 4 layers of folded hankie but doesn't show much on dark green. Unique.
