Made in Ireland is stamped on the back of this sterling? hallmarked pin. I am not up on my Irish lore so I can't expain the significance of the symbols but I am sure they ARE significant. Pin is beautifully made by J.M. Co. and has 3 unreadable halmarks. 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 with an old tubular hinge and double C clasp. (clasp looks like a safety clasp without the middle mechanism but there is no sign of it having had the middle piece). Clasp hold sell. Very good condition. |
