This is the strangest dress clip! The multicolored glass settings are split into an upside down V with a clip back attached at the narrow point - but then a 1 inch straight piece of metal has been soldered crosswise to the clip bottom. I assume this is to help balance the clip - and maybe it needs it since the jeweled pieces are fairly heavy - how creative! Since there are holes, you can stitch it on so you don't lose it. No rhinestones missing though I have replaced a couple of the tiny ones. Very good condition. Update: just found this on hinge - AT180112. AT is a mystery but the number puts it smack in the early 30's, Art Deco.
