Czech butterfly wing pin from the 20's is the real thing - not the later ones with palm trees. The colors are incredible - but I am not sure if it is a fine imatation of wing or for real. Measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 including the fancy edging. Looks like it might have been guilded but none remains so it has an antique brass finish that can be polished. Silvered back is stamped Made in Czechoslovakia - intesting - I have see these marked England and Bermuda but never Czech.

| Glass is in excellent condition, edging is bent a little on one of the longer sides. C clasp. Included pictures of 2 other butterfly wings pieces so you can decide if the Czechs were butterfly killers or good fakers. |
