This sterling Victorian pin w safety chain lead me on a merry search. It looks like some kind of a gazelle leaping over a thistle. Back is stamped sterl silv CANDIDA. I eventally decided that it was a souvenir pin of Victorian travels to the first Christian church in the British Isles, about 4th century AD called Casa Candida. I like history! |
