This brooch is just plain pretty with it sterling filigree and huge faceted amethyst cut glass stone. Measures 1 7/8 x 1 1/8 - sizeable but not sash pin size. Safety clasp indicates it may be an early Vicortian recreation but it is definitely not new. Stamped sterling.
