Impresive size, this Victorian necklace, (1 1/4 x 7/8 inch), and it has lovely embossing on both sides, flowers on back and reposse with black highlights(basse-taille?)on front. A little of black is worn on hinge side where it would be held when opening. Also, an intial A is detectable on this side, maybe even JEA - hard to read. But I like the other side just as well if you the initials don't match yours. Some parts are gold for sure, some probably goldfilled. |
