Hard to Find ~ 19th C. Spongeware Plate England RARE 19TH C. SPONGEWARE Cut SPONGE Decorated PLATE

Spongeware plate made in England, these hand crafted designs were popular in the last half of the 19th century. Flow blue sponge print painted and hand done embellishments of fruit and leaves in center in reds and green.

There are 2 small chips in rim at red line, largest is less than 3/16" dia.
8-1/2" dia. plate made of thin lightweight pottery clay. Light overall crazing with some age darkening on back....

Old Arts and Crafts Matte Blue Vase No makers mark underneath, probably Brush McCoy Blue Vellum. Stoneware clay body. Drippy glaze.There are a couple of chips to the base ring on the bottom, otherwise very nice antique condition. See detail photos. Measures 6" x 5" x 6".
Excellent for display especially in a 1920s Arts and Crafts bungalow as this vase dates to the same era.

HORLICKs Malted Milk Pitcher Staffordshire England Made in Staffordshire England, this Horlick's Malted Milk Pitcher has removable Metal insert to froth the milk.
Measures 8" high x 5" dia. (inc. handle /spout). Includes metal insert stem with milk frother. Back in the old days (probably from 1950s) this was used for beating air into milk for milkshakes, malted drinks. Now days it would be handy for frothing warm milk for your daily latte or cappuchino.
