Excellently hand-carved wooden sculpture of a traditionally dressed Korean elderly farmer. 12" tall, 4-1/2" wide and 4" thick. Carved from a single block of wood and stained a mellow honey color. Sash and hat band are touched up with antique white color. Stanped by the artist with an oriental character (hancha) on the bottom. 1960s. Like new condition. |
