Antique Chandelier Gilt Bronze Crystal Candle
19th Century European masterpiece, this chandelier is quite amazing. It was originally powered by candle light, having 10 candle branches on the bottom tier which are now electrified and 3 candle branches on the upper tier that are still in original candle burning state. The frame is bronze dore, with the central stem in the most unique blown, puffy design all of clear glass with puffy cherub faces. The chandelier is strung & fitted with the most lavish amount of hand cut prisms, that also have the cherub faces cut into them, there is also a mix of other amazing prisms, most of which measure approximately 5"x4" -the chandelier measures 40" long x 32" diameter, measurement is for fixture only & does not include the chain - this size can be lengthened or shortened by adjusting any size chain for it, which I will provide. The condition is perfect, I feel that most likely this Chandelier is Italian & dates from the last half of the 19th century. In all my years of dealing in antique lighting I have never found a fixture quite like this one. This leads me to believe that this chandelier was most likely a commissioned or custom made for the original owner, it truly is a masterpiece!

Antique Classical Crystal Chandelier Candle Burning
This is one of the most superb, elegant and sophisticated 19th century classical crystal chandeliers. It has the most magnificent graceful flowing form. It has six simple candle branches with carved wood candle picks. It is accented throughout with cut and blown rich amber prisms. It is still in the original candle burning condition and it can be wired for electricity if you wish. Measuring 29 ½" high with a 20" overall diameter. It is in excellent condition!

Antique Classical Ballroom Chandelier
Here is a very interesting ballroom chandelier made of a composition or terra cotta type of material. It is in a very classical acanthus leaf design. It dates from about 1880-1910. The 26" diameter bowl is suspended from three chains attached to the original canopy and it is 48" high. The interior of the bowl houses the large lighting sockets. The condition is excellent. The surface is a bronze overleaf having a wonderfully rich surface patina. The length can be made longer or shorter if need be. I have 5 of these all identical. Take one or several for $2250.00 each.

Quite the spectacular 19th Century Gas Light. This chandelier is in a very rich and warm colored brass. It is highly ornate with the twisted arms. This fixture was originally gas and electric and is now fitted fully for electricity. It is complete with a waffle design reflective shade. The chandelier measures 55"l x 30" in diameter. Antique Classical Crystal Cascade Chandelier
Magnificent 19th century masterpiece! This is one of the most elegant chandeliers! As you can see it is small and slender. It is strung from top to center with gorgeous faceted crystal strains. The frame is one of the most unique colors that I have ever seen. It is gilt bronze with very interesting low luster pale highlights. The central band of the frame as I hope you can see in the photographs is highly decorated. It is accented all the way around with classical outward bending palm leaves. In-between the palm leaves there are three palm fronds which extend even further outward and are very bold. There is a candle cup on top of the fronds with an engine turned bobeche. At the end of that sever palm fronds you can see an absolutely stunning ornate crystal in the shape of a bell. There are beaded swags decorating the entire outside band of the chandelier accentuated by a huge highly faceted brilliant crystal. You then have four circular bands of cascading cut prisms ending in a free blown glass ball with a bell attached to the top. The chandelier is superbly classical and would fit a multitude of décor. The colors are that glorious color of crystal that is colorless – just the way we like it. There is nothing tacky about this chandelier it is supremely elegant. It has an amazing combination of candle power on the top and electric power on the interior - the best of both worlds! It measures approx 40" at highest with a 19" overall diameter.

Antique Classical Casted Bronze Gas Chandelier
A super gasolier from the 19th century! It is ornately and wildly casted in bronze in a truly classical design and spirit. I have never seen a chandelier quite like this one. I am not quite sure if it is American or European – it looks like it is European but again I’m not quite sure. It has so much going on with classical rams heads in sharp well casted form. It has four arms – each still having their original gas jet. The surface patina is dark, rich and wonderful. Underneath the bottom of the chandelier there is a large lovely finial which has a slight dent in it – you can’t notice it unless you are standing directly underneath as I am. The shades are coin spot in frosted glass cut to clear. I believe these shades are original. The chandelier was wired sometime ago and it is ready to just install and light up your life. It comes from an old mansard mansion in Bar Harbor, Maine. It measures 20" high with a 30" overall diameter.

Antique Carved Wood Gold Gilt 18 Branch Chandelier Mast
This absolutely spectacular and rare 18th century chandelier in carved wood and gold gilt has the most spectacular bold and undulating fluid movement throughout its 18 candle branches. There is an illegible signature on the interior of the wooden base that could possible be the maker, the carver or the gilder. There are also the numbers 844 and 851. It is still in it original candle burning power and it has a combination of water and oil gilding. The boldness of the design is striking. All of the candle cups are in a floral design and the bobeches have a pierced carving. At the bottom of the chandelier, the finial is of three winged cherubs. The central ring that holds the bottom tier of candle branches is probably brass or copper with gold gilding. There are six arms on the top tier and 12 arms on the main body. Again dating from the 18th century – one of the most beautiful baroque chandeliers. It has had some minor professional restoration over the years – which is very acceptable for an item of this age and delicacy. The chandelier is approx 30" at highest with a 35" overall diameter.

Antique Classical 4 Branch Petite Chandelier
One truly elegant classical chandelier. It has a spectacular central astral style shade surrounded by four electric candle branches. The bowl of the chandelier is in a verde green patinated metal with applied brass mounts. It has wonderful classical almost pineapple or pine comb finials on the top and bottom. The chandelier was originally candle burning and is now fitted for electricity. The main wire travels up one of the highly ornate chains and cannot be seen. This is a very good quality chandelier – a unique and hard to find size. It probably dates form the early 1900’s – again originally candle burning. It has a very sophisticated elegant look making a profound statement for such a petite chandelier. It measures approx 16" in diameter overall x 26" high to the top of the canopy.
