P026
Copeland Bowl Pitcher Set Antique Stoneware Here is an absolutely grand Copeland three-piece decorated stoneware chamber set. I’m not sure what the pattern is – but it is glorious and vibrant all on a cream ground. The set consists of the bowl, the pitcher and the chamber pot with lid. It is in very good condition – I believe this is an early one. Marked only on the bottom with the impressed mark Copeland and the letter B – there is also red script, letters and numbers which I assume are for the decorators. Oddly enough for a utilitarian set of this magnitude and age (dating form the early 19th century I suspect) it is amazing that it has minimal signs of wear. The colors are still vibrant and so naturalistic. The bowl measures 5 1/8"h with an overall diameter of 13 7/8". The pitcher is 9 ¾"h x approx 9 ¼" at widest (including handle). The chamber pot is approx 8" at highest with a 9" overall diameter.

Antique Royal Bayreuth Porcelain Vase Moor Horse Here is a totally wonderful fine porcelain vase marked Royal Bayreuth Bavaria. The scene is of a Moor on horseback crossing the desert with palm trees in the back ground. The colors are just as naturalistic and life like as can be - almost like being in the desert at sunset. It measures 7 ½ inches high with an approx overall diameter of 4 ¾ inches. The vase is in very good condition except for the very top edge where a lot of the gold gilding is worn – other then that it is an outstanding fine antique porcelain vase with an absolutely wonderful subject matter.

P051
Antique Capodimonte Porcelain Box Enamel One of the most heavenly boxes I have ever had! I have had several Capodimonte boxes in my career but this one is just the most precious. It is a nice size and the porcelain is lush and rich. It has such a great feel to it with high and low spots giving it quite a dimensional look. On every panel of this porcelain box there are heavily embossed scenes of cupid doing all aspect of a cupid’s job. I love the front part of the box where you see cupid carrying a torch in one hand and trailing a floral vine in the other with a dove or love bird with a letter in his mouth following cupid. There are various other scenes of cupids jumping for joy all trimmed in gold gilt enamel. The colors are just lushes and rich. The detail is impeccable. The frame of the box is gilt bronze. The interior of the box has enameled floral sprays. The hinges are working fine. On the base of the box it is marked with a blue N and a crown. The box is in truly excellent condition. Obviously this box was cherished and loved by its former owner. It dates from the 19th century. This perfect box measures 4 ¼" at widest x 2 7/8" at deepest x 3 1/8" at highest.

P098
Antique Small Parian Vase Grapes Leaves Vines 19th century small Parian vase – pure white and smooth as silk. It is free flowing and ornate with grape clusters and leaves around the neck with acanthus leaves adorning the huge melon shaped base. It is unmarked as to who the maker may be. The work is very fine. As I look over the vase I can see the slightest amount of only a few little tiny flakes off the leaves - which are minuscule I assure you. For this much work and this type of design this is in exceptionally good condition – all things consider. The art work is spectacular. The vase is 4 ¾" h with an overall diameter of 3 ¼".

P100
Antique Porcelain Berry Set German Cobalt Blue Gold One of the most breathtaking porcelain berry sets to come along in a thousand years. The sight of this set gives you Goosebumps. The work is so delicate – every under plate and bowl sits perfectly in a contrasting setting between the art work on the plate and bowl. The subject matter is all flora and fauna – butterflies, flowers, sea life, blue skies, wild grasses and much much more. Look at the wide cobalt blue border that appears to be almost cloisonné – that is how spectacular and fine the work is. The set is positively perfect! The set consists of the bowl, 6 under plates and 6 berry bowls. Fine German porcelain – having the mark underneath probably dating from the very late 1800’s to very early 1900’s. Again the quality is spectacular and superb. I have not looked up the makers mark but there is no question that it is German and of superior quality – a very unique set. The berry bowls measure 5 7/8" in diameter. The under plates are 8 3/8" in diameter and the serving bowl is 9 ½" x 7 7/8" x 3 3/8" at highest.

aa2535
Blue Willow Tureen Bow A rare find indeed! A super nice small sauce tureen with cover ,ladle & under plate .Blue Willow also known as Blue Canton & resembling Staffordshire with its blue decorated Lions head finial & handles. This set has the blue circle/arrow mark for Bow Porcelain Factory established in 1740, one of the earliest British Porcelain Houses. This set is very nice indeed ,super stylish with a tremendous amount of blue & white decoration .The condition is good ,having only the amount of staining that you would expect from an 18th century household utility item. All the pieces are marked except the ladle which only has a blue smudge mark & has a slightly different pattern , but never the less this group has been together for a very long time , So what I’m trying to say is that the ladle may or may not be original to the tureen , but it doesn’t matter !The under plate measures 8 3/8" x 6 1/8" .The tureen measures 6"x4" without handles & 3 ½" high not including the finial. If you are a serious collector of Blue Willow this is a must have ! Please look at my entire website for more fine porcelain items ,I appreciate your Business.BLUE DOLPHIN FINE ANTIQUES
