Antique Russian Niello Silver Gold Goblet
Quite the outstanding Russian work of art right here. A slender and elegant goblet in silver Niello with a full gold wash interior and exterior having a gold applied floral decoration on the front reserve of the goblet. As you can see a picture is worth a thousand words. I have tried to capture all the magnificent, all the work in this goblet. The condition is truly truly excellent. It is hallmarked with Russian hallmarks which were very very hard to capture on camera because they are so small. What I have been able to determine form these hallmarks is that this piece was made sometime during 1928 – 1950 and the silver content is 875. One of the hallmarks I believe is the maker’s name. It is marked with the letter and numbers A3RU, then in a long punch the number 3, followed by a head facing right and then the numbers 875. It measures 7 3/8" at highest with an overall diameter of 2 3/8". Once again spectacular work! It is absolutely fine with the all over design magnificent, delicate and sophisticated. It is from a very fine estate in Bangor, Maine.

Antique Aluminum Silver Match Safe Monogram
This is a very nice match safe looking very Art Deco in design to me. It is simple with only a very fancy script monogram on the front which I believe reads – RPW. It is marked on the flip top AP& Co and on the reverse side of the flip top it is marked Aluminum Silver. The top works on a push button flip top mechanism and the mechanics are in good working order. It has the match strike on the bottom. It has a slight bit of pitting on the front which I believe could come out with some heavier polishing. It measures 2 1/8" x 1 3/8" x 3/8".

Sterling Silver Tea Spoons
Really nice set of six Fiddle Back Teaspoons. So nice & clean & in very good condition. They have only the minor amount of scratching in the spoon bowl that you would expect on silver of this age. The design is so handsome & classical. The are marked on the back Sterling. Initials on the front in very fancy script "EMW".Measuring 5 5/8" long .They date from the middle 1800 s & they are wonderful. They weigh 3.855 OZ on my tiny scale.

This vase measures 11.5" tall x 7 3/8" diameter of opening .Hallmark on the base (RD in the middle of wings) & Sterling for Richard Dimes Boston Mass 1908-1955 .They made sterling flatware & hollowware & eventually was absorbed by Lunt Silversmiths. European Silver Mounted Decanter
A great decanter! The blown crystal decanter is delicately & elaborately engraved with lovely summer flower sprays. The decanter is mounted with silver repousse around the bottom half & at the neck & topped off with a figural stopper .The stopper is really interesting, being a peasant man in European dress holding a goose under each arm. The repousse work in all of the silver is quite exceptional, very well defined, the scenes are of an outdoor celebration where men, women & children are dancing, drinking & eating .This decanter has an interesting feature, in that the figural stopper screws into the top & it also has a pouring spout on either side .It has all the maker hallmarks on the bottom along with the silver content of 800, This decanter dates from the early 1900’s & was made in Italy or Germany. It is stunning on every account .It is a useful table article & would also make a perfect gift. Measuring 11 ½" tall x 4" wide x 3" deep. Victorian Silver Plate Basket Reed & Barton
A wonderful aesthetic movement silver plated basket. This is a great one & it has everything going for it! The four strategic corners of the basket have a cameo portrait of historical men & women. The inside of the basket surface is so heavily chased with stylized fleur di Lis & Greek key dezigns.The base is in pyre form with mythological beast heads at the top of the stand & an animal hoof for the feet. On the center pyre sits the Mythical Egyptian Dog Nexus. This basket is in very good condition & makers mark on the bottom is Reed & Barton. This basket was most likely made in the Centennial Era dates from the 1870’s .This is a great find ,not your common silver plated serving item. This is so much a part of our history , A beautiful silver item well over 100 years old .
