Old Stock LEA STEIN Paris Stretch Limousine Pin with Original Paper Label "Chauffeur, please ready the limousine for our soiree’," may be the words you’d utter were you lucky enough to own a real version of this Lea Stein stretch limousine pin. The vintage laminated cellulose acetate model shown here is made of luminous gray pearl with opaque black running boards and fenders and bombe’ wheels in tones of gray, black and white. The limo is 2 3 /4" long and 7/8" high. The windows are open and the door and "speed lines" are impressed into the molded body.

The safety clasp pin is permanently affixed and is embossed "Lea Stein, Paris." The original paper "Made in France" label is attached too. This vintage vehicle is old stock in excellent, unworn condition.

Ms. Stein’s style has become instantly recognizable since the late 1960’s when she first heat-laminated cellulose acetate in layers of color to create simple yet graphically strong jewelry with a strong Art Deco flavor. These old-stock designs are no longer produced so their availability shrinks each year thus a special find like this is always to be appreciated.

1940's Summer Chic Dyed Seashells & Plastic Leaves Adj. Necklace This vintage shell and leaves necklace is the very essence of carefree, warm-weather living! The dyed shells of rosy pink, butter yellow, sea blue, and natural ivory measure up to 1" in length. All are speckled with gray for just a touch of drama. They are interwoven with transparent green plastic leaves that look just like Venetian glass. The shells and leaves are strung on two light green rayon cords which can be knotted at a length of anything up to 33". The necklace, probably from the 1940’s or early 1950s, is in excellent condition. With one tie of a bow, you are at once chic and instantly cool on even the hottest day!

3 Vintage BAKELITE Butterscotch Swirl Spacer Bangle Bracelets A trio of vintage butterscotch Bakelite spacer bangles is swirled with chocolate ribbons to give you rich accessorizing options—use them as triple set alone or mix and match with other retro bracelets. The set of three has a combined width of ½" and each has an inner diameter of 2 ½". They are all in very fine condition with no chips or cracks.

1930's Ivory Celluloid Flower Bangle with Roses, Mums & Lilies of the Valley This 1930s molded celluloid bangle bracelet is a rolling garden of deeply molded flowers including full-bloom roses, lilies of the valley, daisies, and chrysanthemums.
The ivory color bangle is 5/8" wide and has an inner diameter of 2 5/8". The inside is smoothly polished and the bangle is durable and in wonderful condition.

1930's Carved Marbled Green BAKELITE Mandarin Sage Man Pin Deep in thought, a Chinese Mandarin sage folds his arms to contemplate and his portrait was captured in hand-carved marbled green Bakelite swirled with deep yellow. The figure is 2 1/8" high by 1 9/16" high across his wide, sloped brim woven-texture hat, and 5/16" deep.

The gentleman has a long mustache, open mouth and eyes, and high polish on front, back and sides. The carving is deep and the material tests very positively as Bakelite. The metal pin shaft and safety clasp are securely embedded in the Bakelite and the piece is in excellent condition.

I can’t speak to the wisdom of this Mandarin but I can say that collecting and wearing anything you love is always advisable. Follow your heart!

Sparkling 1920's Cream CELLULOID 3-Row RHINESTONE Bangle This 1920's cream celluloid bangle is set all around with sparkling crystal facetted foiled glass rhinestones in three rows. The bangle measures 3/8" wide with an inner opening of just over 2 3/8".

All the stones are present and highly sparkling. A few have darkened, as we would expect but they will dazzle your friends and admirers alike. The interior is smooth and scratch-free. Always in style for the modern flapper or style-setter!

Vintage Chocolate Brown & Caramel BAKELITE Hoop Clip Earrings These vintage Bakelite hoop earrings combine two favorite color flavors for extra versatility and richness: opaque chocolate brown flecked with caramel. Each earring is ½" wide at the bottom and tapers to 3/16" at the top. The caramel flecks are visible on the polished sides and interiors.

These vintage hoop earrings test very positive as Bakelite and are in super condition. The clips hold firmly and comfortably and have bright gold-plating throughout.

Chic Faux Ivory Lucite Acrylic Fluted Bead Necklace & Carved Look Bangle This vintage Lucite acrylic necklace and bangle set has the color and seamless quality that make it a convincing simulation of carved ivory but at a tiny fraction of the price. The 17 ½" long necklace is made of fluted beads in both melon-lobe and four-lobe styles that graduate down in size to meet round beads at the sides. The largest bead in the center is 1 1/8" wide and 1" in diameter. Small spacer beads give the necklace nice flow and the screw clasp is integrated into a split bead—a fine quality touch.

The matching bangle has a spiral twist design and is ¾" wide with a peaked center; the inside diameter is 2 5/8". And, if you look at the inside, you can even see some graining like that found in genuine ivory!

Both pieces are in wonderful condition and have the look that could fool your admirers so, if they don’t ask, you don’t have to tell! Just accept the compliments!

Vintage Carved BAKELITE Horse Head Pin with Glass Eye, Harness, Reins This fabulous vintage gold/butterscotch Bakelite carved horse brooch has applied red gimp harness, chain reins, and a translucent glass eye! Talk about accessorized! The charming sculpture is 3 1/8" wide and 3 1/8" high.

The Bakelite has faint swirls (more evident by back-lighting) which add to the rich color. The hand-painted details on the harness and face are a charming touch. The brass reins appear to be a replacement; no doubt the original gimp was too fragile to endure swinging all these years. The silver-tone pin closes with a safety clasp. The carving is sharp, the condition is wonderful, this is an elegant equine brooch!

Vintage New/Old Stock ITALY Bold Lucite & Faux Coin Necklace This fun old stock Italy white Lucite bead and gilt faux coin necklace mixes the new with the pseudo-ancient for a Mod nod to the very Olde World! The necklace is 16 ½" long and has luminous 9/16" diameter rounds accented by antiqued gold-tone spacers at the front. The centerpieces are 1 ½" domed pendants centered with gold-plated "coins" of a god or powerful ruler with a very strong profile and crimped locks waving behind him.

One pendant has the original paper "Made in Italy" label. The necklace closes with as sleek split-bead barrel clasp and is in super, unworn condition.

3 Old Store Stock Fancy Faux Gem Set & Gilt Metal Hair Combs, USA, Never Used This set of three old-stock, never used hair combs is set with cabochon faux gems of bright orange-red coral, turquoise, and ivory. Each comb has a rich gold-plated, textured metal top plate that is riveted to the tortoise-color plastic tooth base. Each measures 2 1/8" high by 1 5/8" wide and curves to conform to the head.

Now, you know these have some age as they were actually made in the USA- remember when we still manufactured plastic accessories here? They are all in excellent, unused condition.

Snappy C1940 Red & Cream Plastic Anchor & Rope Pin Seaside and snappy, this circa 1940 plastic pin takes a cheery red plastic anchor and twines it with natural cream color celluloid rope to create a nautical and patriotic accent. The pin is 1 ¾" high and 1 3/8" wide, has a pin with C clasp and is in ship-shape condition!

1930's Celluloid Old Stock Lily of the Valley Pendant with G.F. Chain Necklace This 1930’s new/old molded celluloid floral pendant has the look of a finely and deeply carved piece of ivory and captures a lush stem of Lily of the Valley with sweet wildflowers hugging it won each side. The naturalistic oval drop measures 1 7/8" long by 1". The buds and petals burst forth exuberantly to create a 3-D effect and dramatic shadows. I have added another new/old stock piece, an 18" paper-clip link gold-filled chain with a "1/20 12K G.F. CA Co." stamped spring-ring clasp. In pristine, unworn condition, you’ll reach for this lovely vintage necklace year-round!

Fabulous 1930's Red BAKELITE Cherries & Leaves Necklace, Super Condition! Cheery Bakelite cherries dance on a brass chain amidst green plastic leaves in this upbeat 1930’s necklace. Each cherry is about 5/8" in diameter, and 2" long on stem (the curve of each stem varies). The stems are more pose-able and less floppy than most and in wonderful condition: you can bend them a bit to your taste. The molded plastic leaves are 7/8" long. Both cherries and stems are connected with brass rings.

The 17 1/4" long chain has the preferred warm patina of old brass and closes with a hook and safety coil ring. The cherries test very positive as Bakelite. This necklace is a period piece in truly super condition—and what juicy color!

Vintage GIANT White Plastic & AB Rhinestone Flower Earrings Large-as-life and three times as much fun, these vintage white plastic and rhinestone earrings will keep all eyes on your ears!
