Dramatic 1930's Black & Crystal Carved LUCITE Cameo Brooch Pin This 1930’s vintage black and crystal Lucite acrylic cameo brooch has great detail in the Victorian style molded portrait and a Moderne style frame to bring the piece into the current century! The brooch measures 2 ¾" by 2 ¼". The raised tablet of the portrait is pure opaque black, simulating Whitby jet.

The scalloped crystal clear frame is reversed carved with leaves. The brooch has a safety clasp pin. It's in lovely condition (the discoloration on the back is due to adhesive between the layers). This fun yet feminine Lucite cameo has bold size ideal for today's fierce fashionista!

1930's Figural BAKELITE Carved & Pierced SQUIRREL& Nut Pin This adorable vintage carved Bakelite pin is unusual not only for its cute subject: a bushy-tailed squirrel with a nut—but also its rare burgundy wine color.

The bar measures 1 ¾" wide by just under ½" high and 3/16" thick. Ms. Squirrel is 2 3/8" high and 1 ½" wide. The Bakelite is pierced to separate the tail from the body of the squirrel and incised to delineate the ear, front paw, and leg. A brass ring connects the bar to Ms. Squirrel. The nickel pin shaft has a safety clasp. This circa 1935 pin does test very positive as Bakelite and is in excellent condition.

Vintage RICHELIEU Carved BAKELITE & Rhinestone Pendant Necklace & Orig. TAG This carved Bakelite pendant necklace by Richelieu is a fabulous find for several reasons: Bakelite from the latter part of 20th century is not common; Richelieu is not known for bold, modern design; and any Bakelite item with an original maker’s tag is rare.

The fig-form, flat-based, marbled caramel and chocolate Bakelite pendant is 1 5/8" high and is carved six with spiraling incised vertical lines. Atop the pendant is a rhodium-plated rhinestone rondelle. The neck cord is lustrous black rayon, knotted just above the rondelle. It’s 33 ½" in length including the silver-tone spring-ring clasp. The "Richelieu" silver foil tag is attached. I have one of these pendants in black but never knew who made it till I found this one. The necklace is in excellent, unworn condition and the pendant does test very positive as Bakelite. It is rather weighty but also has a nice feel in the hands, like a warm worry stone with sparkle!

1930's Carved BAKELITE & Plastic Beads "Collar" Necklace This fun 1930’s "collar" necklace takes the form of a pair of double lapels in carved butterscotch Bakelite accented with cream plastic round beads. The 16 ½" long necklace has four wedges of deep caramel or butterscotch Bakelite with hand-carved rosettes and leaves; the larger ones are about 5/8" wide by 1 3/8" long (all test very positive as Bakelite). They are separated by rounds of molded cream or ivory plastic beads. The remainder of the necklace is made of tubular and smaller round plastic beads (one side has an extra small round bead) and is finished with a screw-in double round bead clasp.

The necklace is in wonderful condition; the double cords are strong. The design has a unique period charm that makes it a great filler on a bare neckline over a crew or jewel neckline top.

Happy 1950's Neon Orange Plastic & Metal Flowers Adj. Necklace with Rhinestones lightweight plastic, and crystal glass rhinestones! The front cluster of flowers—each flower’s petals are framed in metal—measures 2 ¾" across and 1 ¾" deep. The figure-eight plastic links are connected with light silver/gold tone bars and meet at a hook clasp with a truly whimsical melon-lobed terminal. The maximum length of the adjustable necklace is 17".

The necklace is in wonderful condition with brilliant rhinestones--and it’s comfortable to wear too!

Vivid 1960's West GERMAN Old Stock Plastic Bead Necklace & Bracelet, ORIG. Tag Fresh from the workshop—about 40 years ago!—this West German necklace and bracelet of vivid plastic/acrylic beads is old stock with tag in never-worn condition. The bead and disk necklace are made of 11/16" diameter beads in black, cream, and bright green alternating with pairs of flat disks. The necklace has a gold-plated hook (stamped W. Germany) and chain extender so you can adjust it from 14 ½" to 18 ¼". The stretchy bracelet uses the same dynamic beads on two cords of elastic. It has the original "Made in Western Germany" paper tag still affixed. This punchy plastic set has plenty of pizazz and is in pristine condition. Okay, enough word play, just trust me, you’ll get noticed!  

Superb 1930's Tortoise Shell BAKELITE Clamper Bracelet with Carved Plumes This vintage tortoise color Bakelite clamper bracelet has a bold Retro plume design deeply carved into the front with yellow-frosted accents on the quill. The bangle is 1 1/8" high at the front, 3/8" thick, and it tapers to 7/8" wide at the back.

The gold-plated spring hinge is strong, the carved material tests very positive as Bakelite, and the overall condition is wonderful. The mottling of the translucent tortoise is quite believable too. The clamper has an unusual design and is all the adornment your lucky wrist needs!

1930's Vintage Plastic Flower Pot Pendant & Plastic Chain Necklace This perky vintage flower in a pot pendant hangs from a bright green plastic chain for a 1930’s style spin on gardening jewelry. The two-sided, hand-tinted flower pot is 2 ¼" high. The base color is cream with a shaded green pot and pops of marigold yellow. I added three vintage glass topaz cabochons on one side for glitz and a two-in-one pendant.

The new/old stock chain necklace is 19" long and closes with an old-stock brass spring-ring clasp. The condition is excellent. If you appreciate unique, upbeat jewelry with personality, you’ll enjoy this fancy flower that stays fashionable year-round!

Vivid Color Transparent 2-Layer Molded Acrylic 1960's Flower Earrings These 1960’s large and lively molded Lucite acrylic plastic earring have two layers or transparent petals with vibrant hand-painted yellow bodies accented in green with red borders. Each earring is 1 ¾" in diameter and about 3/8" deep. The center button is spinach green acrylic.

The earrings have light gold tone clip findings. The condition of these fanciful flowers is wonderful and they are lightweight and oh so vibrant!

1960's White & Clear 4- Strand 48-Inch Necklace & Cascade Pendant Earrings This fun and light-hearted 1960’s plastic beaded necklace and earring set is the absolute essence of Twiggy trendiness. The 4-strand necklace is 48" long; each bead is 7/16" wide . The strands are made of facetted plastic beads, two each of white and crystal, heat-sealed to white cord so that they will never come unknotted. The length allows you to wear the strands looped around up to three times or swinging long and free.

Each earring measures 2" long and about ½" wide at the bottom. They have the look of a beaded waterfall with gold-tone clip tops and filigree caps. The tassels consist of eight bead strands and are in constant motion when you move!

Pair of 1930's Art Deco Green BAKELITE Carved Dress Clips Doubly Deco, this pair of 1930’s green Bakelite dress clips is carved with sleek geometric designs. Each clip is 1 7/8" long, 3/4" wide at the top, and ½" thick at the top.

The clip findings grip securely with the assistance of two small prongs. The material tests very positively as Bakelite. These clips are in wonderful condition. Try them in the style of the day on either side of a scoop or square neckline or clipped onto lapels—or be more modern and slip them on Capri pant hems, shirt cuffs, or even into the hair!

Safari Chic 1960's Resin Jade Tusk & Stacked Elephants Pendant Necklace If there were a Serengeti in the Costume Continent, one could find jade green resin tusks shed by the great gold-plated elephants—and make a fashion-savvy pendant such as this vintage beauty! The chain-linked, three-tier pendant is 5" long and the capped tusk is itself 2 ¾" in length. Its hue is rich medium green with some light swirls imitating mineral inclusions. The finish is an antiqued, soft gold which add to the aged effect. The pendant hangs from a 24" long chain with spring-ring clasp. Sassy 1960's Lucite Two-Tone Beaded Pendant & Earrings Set Brilliant, transparent jewel-tone Lucite beads in turquoise and cobalt blue hang from the pendant and earrings of this 1960’s vintage set. The teardrop-shape beads form a 3" long, 1/12" wide pendant which hangs from a 29" long light gold aluminum chain interspersed with facetted Lucite beads. The fold-over clasp is stamped "Hong Kong." The matching 2 ¼" long earrings have clip backs stamped "Hong Kong" too. This sassy set is in great condition.
