1960's Faux Turquoise & Pearl 3-Strand Bracelet with Jeweled Clasp
This vintage new/old stock bracelet has three strands alternating faux turquoise plastic beads with faux pearls and sparked by light gold-plated spacers and a jeweled clasp. The 7" bracelet is about 1" wide. Textured wide golden beads are sprinkled throughout each strand of beads; small spacer beads allow the bracelet to flow around the wrist. The 1 1/8" diameter flower-shape box clasp has a textured finish and is set with six faux pearls and one turquoise bead in the center. Smaller faux pearls are set between the petals. The bracelet is new/old stock in excellent condition.

1960's Red, White & Blue Plastic Nuggets Necklace, Like New!
This fun,1960’s necklace is a long strand of nugget-shaped red, cream, and navy beads with white spacer beads for fluidity. The 28 ½" long strand is vibrant and nicely finished with a box clasp topped with a cream button bead. The back of the gold-plated clasp is stamped "Hong Kong." This fun and forever fashionable necklace is in excellent, unworn condition.

Like-New 1950's Shimmery Blue MoonGlow Beads Necklace & Earrings
This shimmery, glimmery vintage MoonGlow bead set includes a necklace of graduated beads and a stretch bracelet with uniformly sized orbs. The necklace can be adjusted in length from 13 ¾" to 16 ¼" by way of the chain-linked extender and the golden hook clasp. The largest bead is 7/8" in diameter! The bracelet is made of 5/8" diameter beads strung on elastic and has an inner diameter of about 6 ¼" when relaxed. Both pieces have gold-plated metal beads as spacers so the strands contour around the body. They are unsigned and in excellent, unworn condition.

GIANT 1960's Amber Plastic Hoop Earrings
If bigger is better, these vintage plastic hoop earrings are the best! A full 3 7/8" long from the button tops to the tip of the wavy ovals, the earrings are made of mottled amber-look translucent plastic. They have lightly patinated brass clips tops and are in great condition. (And they are identical shapes though they may look dissimilar in the photo.) Our model has an unusually long hand and these still cover her palm. Lightweight and classic in style but unforgettable in size!

1940's Summer Chic Dyed Seashells & Plastic Leaves Adj. Necklace
This vintage shell and leaves necklace is the very essence of carefree, warm-weather living! The dyed shells of rosy pink, butter yellow, sea blue, and natural ivory measure up to 1" in length. All are speckled with gray for just a touch of drama. They are interwoven with transparent green plastic leaves that look just like Venetian glass. The shells and leaves are strung on two light green rayon cords which can be knotted at a length of anything up to 33". The necklace, probably from the 1940’s or early 1950s, is in excellent condition. With one tie of a bow, you are at once chic and instantly cool on even the hottest day!

Charming C1960 Bracelet with Lucite Ball Charm with Ballerina Dancers
This vintage bracelet has one very large and unique charm: a transparent orange Lucite acrylic sphere around which dances a line of ballerinas or chorus girls! The charm is nearly 1" in diameter and 1 ¾" high to the top of the crown-shaped cap. The silver plated dancers fan out around the base with their skirts full and their legs in mid-kick. This fun theme bracelet has a textured, double-link 7 1/8" long chain and closes with a large spring-ring clasp. I’ve never seen another quite like it--it will keep your wrist dancing!

Wide 1930's Butterscotch BAKELITE Bangle with Carved and Pierced Leaves
This chunky 1930’s butterscotch Bakelite bangle is carved all around with leaves and sets of parallel diagonal lines. The bangle measures 1 1/8" wide, ¼" thick and has an inner diameter of 2 ½". The leaves have pierced centers to enhance the drama of the deep carving.
The bangle does test positive as Bakelite—we could tell from the sharp, detailed carvings and the color it would! There are no cracks or chips in this fabulous Bakelite vintage piece that’s big and bold enough to wear on its own!

MOD 1960's New/Old Stock Pink Plastic Disk & Golden Band Hinged Bracelet
I am thrilled to have come into a large number of New/Old Stock pieces recently of which this 1960’s Mod plastic and gold-plated hinged cuff is one. The face has a 1 7/8" diameter pink disk held on by four faux "bolts"; in the center is a pink cabochon. The band, ¾" wide with an inner diameter of 2 ¼", is hinged out of sight on the underside of the disk. This is a boldly cheery cuff!
These NOS items were removed from a downtown Boston store in the 1960s and stored for 40 years (many pieces have their original sales tags). So, of course, this wonderful vintage find is in like-new, unworn condition.

2 PR 1960's New/Old Stock Red & Cobalt Chain Link Earrings on Cards
I am thrilled to have come into a large number of New/Old Stock pieces recently including these fun amoeba-like single chain-link plastic earrings on the original cards. You will receive one pair each of the bright red and the cobalt blue. These "Fashionable, Latest" single links measure 1" wide and 1" high and have a wavy form that sets them apart from the usual hoop earrings. Each comes on its original card-stock display (most are white, a few have darkened a bit). The earrings have gold-plated pierced posts with clutches. You get two for one price so the coordinating options double!

Striking African Queen Sculptural Thermoplastic Pendant Necklace
This vintage African Queen pendant has a molded face of glossy black thermoplastic set into an impressive mounting befitting an Egyptian ruler. The headdress is silver-plated and has a textile pattern cast into it; it measures 2 ½" by 2". The face has regal molded features and a glossy finish which looks just like Bakelite (it may be, but I have difficulty getting black Bakelite to test positive). The 24" long chain is light in weight and silver in color, I believe it is aluminum; the box clasp is stamped "Germany." This distinctive circa 1960 pendant is in great condition and will help you get the royal respect you deserve.

Dazzling Crystal Bead & Chain Waterfall Earrings
Every day has the potential to be a special day and what better way to be prepared than to slip on these crystal and chain waterfall earrings? Each earring is about 3 ½" long and made up of variable length, fine gold-filled chains which are punctuated by dozens of facetted acrylic crystals. These really shimmer in even modest light. Pair of 1940's Intense Deep Green BAKELITE Carved Dress Clips
These matching 1930’s dark pine green Bakelite dress clips take the form of ribbed leaves topped by a deco/geometric grid. Each clip measures nearly 2" long and 7/8" wide. The carved lines are crisp and accented with a light yellow patina. The green color is intense and dark and can be interpreted as black in certain lights. Both clips test positive as Bakelite and have nickel findings with short pronged grips. They are in excellent condition.

Whimsical 1930's Black BAKELITE Tools Bar Pin - Saw, Pliers, Drill
How cute is this 1930’s vintage Bakelite tools pin? Whether you are handy, want to be, or are married to someone who is, this is a hoot! The carved 1 1/8" wide black Bakelite bar has the "tools of the trade" in the form of a brass saw with Bakelite handle, a pair of working brass pliers (functional jewelry, anyone?) and a brass and Bakelite auger or drill. The total height is 1 ¾" and yet there is such detail--even the top of the drill has an inset of black to simulate the old varnished wood knobs!
The pin clasp is firmly embedded in the Bakelite bar, the way they used to do it in the old days of quality jewelry. The bar tests only weakly positive as Bakelite—black often is tricky. This is one fun pin, in great condition, and you just know it will start some conversations!

Jazzy 1930's Apple Juice BAKELITE Link Bracelet with Gilt Brass Feathers
This 1930’s vintage Apple Juice Bakelite bracelet is a fun and rare find with curved links joined by brass rings and topped with chic brass feathers. The bracelet is ¾" wide and has an inner circumference when clasped of 7 3/8". The Bakelite portions are completely transparent and test very positive with Formula 409. They have some light surface scratches (really not visible when the bracelet is on the arm). The gilt brass feathers and rings add a jazzy note to the style. They are attached by rivets and have oxidized finishes as would be expected with pieces of the age (if you cared to, polish would probably remove the gilding). The large spring-ring clasp is easy to use. Certainly not your run-of-the-mill bangle, this is a dressier style specially designed to highlight the panels on top and bottom of the wrist.

1930's Green BAKELITE Bangle with Chrome Metal Band Detail
This uncommon 1930’s Bakelite bangle is inset with a slim band of chrome or nickel-plated metal to jazz up this collectible accessory. The bangle is 5/16" wide with an inner diameter of 2 ½". The color is a rich green throughout. The bangle tests positive as Bakelite and is in very fine condition. What a great tie-together for jewel ensembles blending colored plastics and silver!
