Vintage Carved Bakelite Horse Head Pin with Glass Eye, Harness, Reins
This fabulous vintage gold/butterscotch Bakelite carved horse brooch has applied red gimp harness, chain reins, and a translucent glass eye! Talk about accessorized! The charming sculpture is 3 1/8" wide and 3 1/8" high. The Bakelite has faint swirls (more evident by back-lighting) which add to the rich color. The hand-painted details on the harness and face are a charming touch. The brass reins appear to be a replacement; no doubt the original gimp was too fragile to endure swinging all these years. The silver-tone pin closes with a safety clasp. The carving is sharp, the condition is wonderful, this is an elegant equine brooch!

Adorable 1930's Gilt Metal Bug with Emerald Glass Wings & Pave' Body
This adorable 1930’s gilt bug pin has such character he deserves his own comic strip! The 1 ½" tall sweetie is 1 ¼" wide and has a gold-plated metal body with two prong-set kite-shaped emerald glass stones. His body is pave’ set with crystal chatons and he has a big black and cream painted eye—all the better to see the collar on which he will land! This unsigned cutie has a safety clasp pin back and is in wonderful condition.

Amazing Sterling Filigree Peacock Earrings - 4 Layers of Feathers
You will be astounded at the detail of these articulated sterling silver filigree peacock earrings. This is true filigree work at its painstaking finest! Not merely stamped-out designs, the minutely thin sterling wires are hand-bent and soldered into the intricate feathers and the detailed bodies of the birds. Each earring is 2 ¾" long and 1 3/8" wide at the widest portion of the fanned tail. This is the first pair I have seen with four tiers of the cupped round drops. The tiers, too, are joined so each layer of the tail moves independently. The earrings have posts with new vinyl clutches. They are stamped "925" for sterling purity on the back. This rightfully proud pair is in excellent condition.

Vintage TRIFARI Thermoset Plastic BIG WHITE Fish Pendant
Ah, the elusive BIG WHITE has at last been found in this vintage Trifari thermoset plastic fish pendant which hangs from a matching enameled metal chain. The fish is 3 ½" long, 1 ¼" wide, and ¾" thick and has a glossy cream-color surface interrupted only by the cylindrical eye. She has a golden loop bale, signed "Trifari," through which slides the 30" long chain with spring-ring clasp. There is a little wear to the chain’s finish, but it’s not glaring (and could be touched-up, if you wish). Ms. Big, on the other hand (or fin?) is in great condition. The catch of the summer!

Amazing Enameled DALMATIAN 3-D Puppy Shoulder Sitter Pin
This amazing, three-dimensional, enameled Dalmatian puppy brooch is designed to lay across your shoulder as a constant companion! The clever, curved body pup is 4 1/4" long and has a gold-plated body. He is completely enameled on the exterior in glossy white with gold-trimmed black spots. His paws are brightly polished gold and his eyes are emerald cut-crystal rhinestones. The safety-clasp pin on his belly allows you to affix your new friend to a jacket or sweater so he can ride securely with you all day. This pleasing put is in excellent, unworn condition; there is only one very thin line in the enamel on his right front leg, an artifact of the enameling process. The darling Dalmatian will be sure to turn more than a few heads while he snuggles close to yours!

Darling 1940's Flying Green Glass Bug with Sterling Vermeil Wings & Head
"Oh,my gosh! My wings are all a-flutter! I just saw myself in the mirror!" This fancy flying insect of sterling silver has a gold finish (vermeil) and a large emerald-green facetted glass body. She measures 2 1/8" long and 2 ¼" wide across the three tiers of scalloped edged wings. Her head is a half-dome with two crystal rhinestone eyes and a pair of extended antennae. A triangular plate under the head is stamped "sterling." Ms. Bling with Wings is in great condition, all set to land her pretty self onto your lapel, hat, or collar!

Sterling Silver Butterfly Pin with Genuine Dried Flowers in Resin
What could be more naturally beautiful than a butterfly made of real dried wildflowers? This unique hand-crafted sterling pin measures 1 5/8" wide and 1 ½: high. The deep body is filled with symmetrical layouts of dried flowers in muted shades of burgundy, yellow, and violet arranged for posterity in clear resin. Two antennae and a sterling body add a bit of sparkle. The pin is stamped "925" on the reverse for sterling purity and it secures with a safety catch. Nearly 3-D Damascene Toledo Enamel Galleon Ship Pendant Earrings
This vintage Vendome ring has great style and a clever adjustable feature too. The domed front measures a little over 1" wide and ½" high. A lattice pattern of gold-plated diamonds contrasts with the glossy white enamel. The ring has a squared back—pull on this bar and you can adjust the size to suit a number of fingers (or use it to enlarge the ring to put it on over a knuckle and then scale it back for the slender part of the finger). The ring can be sized from about 4 ½ to 6 1/2. This chic ring is signed "Vendome" on the inside of the dome and has patent number 2961855 on the band, this dates it to 1960—the start of the bold Mod era, This chic Vendome ring is in great condition.

Vintage 1960's New/Old Enameled FORK & SPOON Earrings on Card
Soup course first? Or salad? Gee, why not dive into the hot pie and have a spoon ready for the melted ice cream? Whatever your taste, these vintage enameled utensil earrings give you the option of having your cake and looking adorable too. The set includes one 2 ½" long light green fork and a 2 ½" vanilla cream spoon. Each has lightly stamped patterns at the edge of the handle and a gold-tone pierced wire top. The pair comes on the original plastic display card.
These fun and practical trinkets are part of a lot removed from a downtown Boston store in the 1960s and stored for 40 years (many pieces have their original sales tags). So, of course, the fashionable fork and spoon have never "left the drawer" and are in like-new, unworn condition.

Jazzy 1930's Liberty Bell Pin with Pave' Rhinestones & Enamel
This darling Liberty Bell, a 1930’s rendition of one of the first symbols of America’s freedom, is cast in silver metal, enameled, and set with pave’ rhinestones. The bell is 1 ½" high and has bright stones throughout the silver-plated portion. The mounting bar is brown enamel punctuated with red rhinestones (one is slightly darker in color but I think it’s best to leave as original). There is a slim, recessed navy band near the base of the bell and, of course, the bell has the famous crack! The pin closes with a safety clasp and save for a tiny amount of enamel loss, the bell is in very fine condition. Let bejeweled freedom ring!

Darling Vintage TRIFARI Ruffled Leaf with Rhinestone Bug
This beguiling Trifari leaf brooch has a special guest—a sparkling rhinestone bug has come calling! The gold-plated leaf measures 2 3/8" high and has a Florentine finish on the top surface with a bright, polished finish on the upturned edge and stem. The rhodium-plated insect (an exotic ladybug, perhaps?) is set with three shapes of crystal rhinestones. The crown Trifari signature is stamped on the stem; the pin has a safety clasp. This circa 1960 pin is wonderful condition. As an aspiring gardener, I just smile each time I spot that darling bug!

Striking African Queen Sculptural Thermoplastic Pendant Necklace
This vintage African Queen pendant has a molded face of glossy black thermoplastic set into an impressive mounting befitting an Egyptian ruler. The headdress is silver-plated and has a textile pattern cast into it; it measures 2 ½" by 2". The face has regal molded features and a glossy finish which looks just like Bakelite (it may be, but I have difficulty getting black Bakelite to test positive). The 24" long chain is light in weight and silver in color, I believe it is aluminum; the box clasp is stamped "Germany." This distinctive circa 1960 pendant is in great condition and will help you get the royal respect you deserve.
