Amazing Enameled DALMATIAN 3-D Puppy Shoulder Sitter Pin This amazing, three-dimensional, enameled Dalmatian puppy brooch is designed to lay across your shoulder as a constant companion! The clever, curved body pup is 4 1/4" long and has a gold-plated body. He is completely enameled on the exterior in glossy white with gold-trimmed black spots. His paws are brightly polished gold and his eyes are emerald cut-crystal rhinestones.

The safety-clasp pin on his belly allows you to affix your new friend to a jacket or sweater so he can ride securely with you all day. This pleasing put is in excellent, unworn condition; there is only one very thin line in the enamel on his right front leg, an artifact of the enameling process. Mechanical DAMASCENE Toledo Ware Folding Fan Pin / Pendant Necklace I love mechanical jewelry and fans so this vintage brooch / pendant was an instant "get it!" The Toledo ware or Damascene enamel fan measures 2 ¼" wide by 1 ¾" wide when fully unfolded. The panels have golden scrolls on a black background and are outlined in beaded silver borders.

The fan has a safety clasp pin on the back and you may use the handle to attach a tassel if you wish. However, the handle is a natural bail as shown with the included 18" gold-plated, bright-cut, curb-link chain with spring-ring clasp. The fan has some slight tonal variations on the back only; the front is in superb condition as is the chain.

Adorable 1960's BOUCHER Enamel Toadstools or Mushrooms Pin This delightful duo of toadstools by Boucher is enameled in translucent purple and russet orange. The 1 3/8" high pin has bright gold-plating on the ribbed stems and the cast "freckles" on the toadstools. (Some may call these mushrooms which can be mighty fancy fungi too!)

The "Boucher" signature is cast on one toadstool and "9165P" is cast on the other. The pin secures with a safety clasp. This 1960’s Boucher botanical bauble is in beautiful condition!

Good Luck Vintage Carved Happy HOTEI / Buddha in Hat Necklace This happy vintage Hotei figure is carved green hardstone (it may be aventurine or jade) and wears a sun-shading brass hat with prong-set faux ruby. Hotei, often confused with Buddha, is actually one of the seven Japanese Shinto gods of good luck. Sometimes called Laughing Buddha, Hotei is the god of happiness, laughter, and the wisdom of contentment. (In Chinese Buddhism he is known as Budai, the Loving or Friendly One and is considered Bodhisattva Maitreya in disguise.) This busy deity is also the patron of the weak, children, bartenders, and fortune tellers!

Smiling with his eyes closed, Hotei is 1" high and hangs from a 18 ½" long curb link brass chain with safety clasp. Likely dating to the 1930’s or 1940’s, this chubby, cheery Hotei is in great condition and offers good luck and prosperity to the wearer.

1930's Euro ART DECO Multicolor Enameled Butterfly Necklace This period Art Deco enameled butterfly necklace is made of brass links finished in cream, aqua and cobalt blue. The butterfly measures 1 ½" across and 1" deep and has pierced wings as well as dainty antennae which curve above the body. The folded links have strong ribbed and sunburst stampings and form a chain with a total length of just under 16" including the large brass spring-ring clasp.

The enamel is very good condition overall; the reverse shows just two links that were not completely covered when new. Even the butterfly is entirely enameled on the reverse. This type of stamping and enamel was popular in Europe, especially Germany, more so than the US, prior to WWII. The necklace is feminine yet has the strength of modern 1930’s design. A delightful Deco find!

Vintage Figural Peacock Marcasites & White 18K Gold-Plated Ring Deserving to be proud is this peacock with a marcasite-set tail as she serves as the front of this white gold-plated ring. The height of the regal bird is 7/8" and the width of the peacock and three flowers on each side is 5/8".

The detail is crisp and very impressive. The fanned tail is highlighted with nine marcasites. The ring band is a size 6 1/2 and is stamped "18K Elec Plate" identifying the white gold finish. It has very high luster and will certainly match any white gold or sterling pieces you already own. The condition is excellent as is the quality on this vintage ring honoring this magical bird. Did you know that some cultures have believed the peacock was incorruptible and could dispel evil spirits? Worth a try!

Dancing Pastel Enameled Figural STARFISH Pin This happy starfish brooch seems to be dancing upon unseen imaginary waves. She is enameled in light cream with center panels of soft green and pastel periwinkle blue. The edges of the panels and the back of the starfish are gold-plated.

From leg to leg the width is 2" wide and the height is 2 1/8". The pin has a safety clasp. This stylish sea-surfing starfish is in wonderful condition.

Long Salamander Lizard Pin with Rhinestone Jeweled Spine This sassy and stylish salamander or lizard has a gold-plated body with black indented enameled spots and is set with a line of glittering crystal chaton rhinestones down her back—all the better to outshine her fellow amphibians at the party! She measures 4 ¼" long and about 2 /14" wide. Her eyes are set with ruby rhinestones.

Ms. Salamander is in wonderful condition and has a safety clasp pin to keep her securely clinging to your jacket, coat or sweater. I like her in the upward pose—very dynamic and dazzling with that jeweled spine!

Darling Vintage Figural CAT & MOUSE Chatelaine Pins with Attached Chain Who’s caught whom in this vintage chatelaine pin set pairing a cat and mouse? Ms. Cat is 1 5/8" tall and her mousy mate is 1 1/4" tall. The textured-gold-plated pins are attached with a 3 ½" long chain and set with colored rhinestones: topaz in the mouse eyes and peridot on the cat’s. Her tail and collar are set with ruby red stones. Both have extending whiskers.

Both pins have safety clasps and are in very fine condition. Squeak and meow! This friendly pair needs a new home now!

Vintage German Sterling Silver Cockatoo PARROT with Gem Eye Pin Here’s a darling pet who won’t ever need feeding and will be happy to perch on your lapel any day! This vintage sterling silver cockatoo parrot is 1 11/16" tall and sits on a tree branch 1 ¼" wide.

As I understand, cockatiels are a subset of the cockatiels and both are types of parrots. This silver fantasy model has a lacy filigree body with textured crest feathers, pert beak, elongated wing feathers, and a large green chrysoprase or jade cabochon eye. The tree branch has a natural bark finish which adds to charm.

The reverse has an affixed "Sterling Germany" plaque and safety clasp pin. This sweet bird probably dates to the 1950s and is in wonderful condition.

Vintage NAPIER Poodle with Moving Swivel Head & Rhinestone Collar This vintage Napier poodle pin has a gold-plated, textured body and wears a channel-set rhinestone collar around her neckline which serves as a full swivel for her head which can turn in a complete circle. The chic doggy stands 1 3/8" high and is 1 ¼" from nose to tail. Both her eyes have ruby color rhinestones.

The Napier signature is cast on the back; a safety clasp pin keeps this posh pooch securely in place. All the stones are intact and have good sparkle. Truly an unusual articulated figural for the vintage jewelry collector!

Vintage Golden Poodle Pin with Rhinestone Collar, Anklets, Eyes, & Nose This posh vintage poodle pin has a textured, gold-plated body and wears an aurora-borealis rhinestone collar as well as anklets! She also has a rhinestone on her head as well more on the curls at the bottom of her carefully coiffured ears. Let’s not overlook the emerald green rhinestone eyes and the ruby red nose either!

Vintage Carved BAKELITE Horse Head Pin with Glass Eye, Harness, Reins This fabulous vintage gold/butterscotch Bakelite carved horse brooch has applied red gimp harness, chain reins, and a translucent glass eye! Talk about accessorized! The charming sculpture is 3 1/8" wide and 3 1/8" high.

The Bakelite has faint swirls (more evident by back-lighting) which add to the rich color. The hand-painted details on the harness and face are a charming touch. The brass reins appear to be a replacement; no doubt the original gimp was too fragile to endure swinging all these years. The silver-tone pin closes with a safety clasp. The carving is sharp, the condition is wonderful, this is an elegant equine brooch!

Vintage MONET Figural Walrus Pin with Simulated Emerald Eyes While this vintage Monet walrus may not be able to tickle you with his whiskers, his adorable appearance certainly will tickle you with his sense of whimsy. The brilliant rhodium-plated figural brooch is 1 5/8" high and 1 ½" wide and has a vertically brushed body with highly polished whiskers, tusks, flippers, and tail. His big cabochon eyes are simulated emeralds.

Mr. Walrus has a safety clasp pin and an affixed signature "Monet" plaque and is in superb condition!

Cheery 1960's OWL Pin & Pendant/Necklace in Chocolate & Vanilla Enamel This vintage enameled owl pin and pendant/necklace has a simple, upbeat style that adds optimistic Pop Art cheer to your neckline or collar. Ms. Owl is 2" high and rendered in chocolate brown and vanilla cream with bright golden highlights and two rhinestone eyes.

This fun and flexible circa 1965 piece is in very fine condition. I can’t say if she’s wise, but she is crafty and enjoyed alighting on a variety of colored backgrounds to show off her versatility. Of course, being able to wear Ms. Owl as a brooch, thanks to her safety clasp pin, and a pendant—on her included 20" fancy link gold-plated chain (or a suede cord or ribbon) is pretty cool too. Hmm, come to think of it, that does make this a wise investment after all!
