Click for more detail...
Delicious 5-Link JULIANA Bracelet with Special Effect Pink & Green Stones This magical D&E Juliana bracelet has a very unusual combination of special-effect, ombre’ colored stones that also have unusual shapes: the marquises have pebbled tops and the domed cabochons have facetted bottoms! All these stones have a lovely melding of peachy-pink and light peridot green—rather like a pastel watermelon effect; the marquises also have an iridescent finish. Light peridot chaton rhinestones in two sizes add extra glitter. The gold-plated bracelet is 7 ½" long, 7/8" wide, and ½" deep. The characteristic five-link construction and fold-over clasp practically "autograph" this Juliana for us. There is light wear to the plating on the back of the oval links only; otherwise, this tantalizing, two-tone D&E bracelet is in super condition.

Click for more detail...
Striking AUSTRIA 5 Shades of Topaz Stones Peaked Pin / Pendant, Schreiner Style This triple-layer "cake" or peaked Austrian brooch has an incredible amount of spark in its cut crystal, unfoiled stones—yes, unfoiled--and they are as brilliant as colored diamonds! The brooch measures 2" in diameter by 1 ¼" high. The lacy "ribbon candy" bands on the edges of the tiers add to the sweetness of the confection. The chatons are a different shade of citrine, topaz, and smoky quartz, are foiled and set closed back. The marquises are topaz and cognac are set open-back and set table-down (as Schreiner often did). Thus, there are five colors of glittering jewels! The center stone is also cognac and set table down which gives a dramatic peak to the brooch.

The reverse shows the solid construction of the piece and the applied "Made in Austria" tag. You will see three looped supports which can be used to slip a chain through and wear the brooch as a pendant! The construction was demanding and the many tiers and stones really give one appreciation of the skill used to make costume jewelry in the past. The brooch has a safety clasp pin and is in excellent condition. The colors are so rich and the reflections are so apparent that they nearly hypnotize you!

Click for more detail...
Vintage WHITING & DAVIS 3-Coil Golden Mesh Snake Bracelet This vintage Whiting & Davis gold-plated mesh snake bracelet coils three times and ends in realistically stamped head and tail. The bracelet measures 2 ¼" in width, each coil is a little over ½" wide, and the inner diameter is 2". However, it can easily uncoil to slide higher up the arm to be worn in the "Egyptian style" above the elbow. The underside of the head is faintly stamped with the Whiting & Davis" mark (the indented design meant most of the bracelets had faints mark). The head end extends slightly beyond the body coil when viewed from above; this does not affect the look when worn except on a small wrist; with any extension of the bracelet the coils stack over each other. The plating is consistent throughout with no wear.

Click for more detail...
Reversible WHITING & DAVIS Silver Tube Collar with Hematite Cabochon This smashing vintage Whiting & Davis silver color mesh collar is so comfortable and so eye-catching, you’ll reach for it again and again--especially since it is reversible! The tubular collar bends very easily yet retains its body not matter which way you wear it. The diameter of the brilliant rhodium-plated tube is ¾"and it’s 19 ½" long between the two ends of the snap clasp. The front cross-over ornament is about 1 5/8" high and 1 ½" wide. It’s set with a mirror-finish hematite cabochon. Turn it over and you have the more post-modern style clasp button that can be worn at the front or back of the neckline (I tried it and believe me, the collar does bend to fit your neck's unique form.) The clasp is secure and easy-to-fasten.

This fabulous collar has all the Whiting & Davis hallmark features but is unsigned, as was common with this maker and the only practical way to finish a two-side piece with so little flat area. The collar is in excellent condition. Just imagine in on a bare neckline or a collarless top—pure pizazz!
