Grande Glam TRIFARI C1960 BIG Topaz Rhinestone Multi Layer Flower Spray Pin
This elegantly oversized Trifari tiered brooch uses a rich bounty of topaz-cognac marquise rhinestones and heavy gold-plated settings in a lush floral spray. The brooch measures 3 ¾" long, 1 ¾" wide, and 7/8" deep. The chrysanthemum or peony type flower has four layers of petals. It hovers over a convex branch with a curving stem finished off by a three chaton stones. The color of the stones is a warm brown with strong copper hints, and all the stones have superb brilliance and lively color play.
I believe the underlying metal may be Trifari’s Trifanium. The patented material, was used after the war. It had the heft of sterling and held gold plating very well. This is a weighty brooch and in combination with its size you have a piece that is ideal for jackets or coats—or even a multi-strand necklace as a pendant if you are truly bold (orient it sideways for maximum collar-fill). The brooch is signed with the Crown Trifari copyright mark and is in excellent, unworn condition.

Vintage KENNETH JAY LANE Changeable Jewels Maltese Cross Pin / Pendant Set
This vintage Kenneth Jay Lane brooch/pendant set comes with five jewel inserts which let you match your mood or your suit. The gold-plated, Maltese cross style pin/pendant measures 1 ¾" in width and height and has 8 permanently affixed faux pearls on the arms. The center cabs are acrylic domes in faux pearl, magenta, purple amethyst, bright peridot green, and turquoise. Each cab has a highly reflective surface and a magnet on the back. You switch them by inserting a point (pencil, toothpick, etc.) through the small triangular hole in the back of the setting, popping out one, and dropping in another which aligns perfectly and reliably in the center.
The brooch has both a safety clasp pin and a hinged pendant bar so you can wear this piece as an enhancer on a string of pearls, a chain, or a ribbon. The "Kenneth Lane" trademark is cast in the brooch. The original box is in included but does have torn edge seams. The Maltese cross and all the inserts are in excellent, unworn condition.

Uncommon JULIANA Leaf Pin with Multi Stone Shapes, Finishes, and Cuts
This vintage D&E Juliana brooch has a little bit of everything in its design including transparent and AB finish chatons, ombre’ art glass stones, special-effect stones, and unique gold-plated leaf findings. The bountiful leaf is 2 ¾" long and 2 1/8" wide. The foiled rhinestones come in light amethyst, peridot AB, amethyst AB and light blue (the 12mm chaton). The large-table marquise stones are misty lavender with mauve tones (rather like saphiret) and have scalloped side facets. The large oval stones have diamond sunburst facets and shade in hue from clue to emerald green. There are three light green AB marquises with "corn cob" impressed designs. And there is one opaque mint green pear with molded raised diamonds and an iridescent finish.
The scalloped edge leaf findings have Florentine textured bodies and smooth polished rims. Phew! Quite a dazzling mix! The stone finishes are all intact and there are no chips in any of them; under magnification you may see a few pinpoint dark specs on the bottoms of the green ovals and scalloped-edge marquises. Each stone is prong set and the brooch has a safety clasp pin. This has been confirmed as Juliana by several long-time D&E collectors and the mix of stones shapes, surfaces, and colors; small mounds of solder; and the design construction confirm the attribution. The brooch blends well with blue and green tones but really pops against purple or reddish hues that contrast with the dominant colors and highlight the AB amethyst and scalloped marquises. Have fun wearing it with a rainbow of tops!

Superb!! Large VOGUE Rhinestone & AB Crystal Drop Earrings
Vogue made great costume jewelry and here is a stellar example of the quality of their materials and novelty of their design! These great facetted crystals are over 1" long and the entire length of each delicious dangler is 2 1/8" long. The crystal beads are topped with prong-set caps alive with rhinestone chatons; rhinestone rondelles sit atop the caps and the fronts of the ear clips are also illuminated by rhinestone rondelles. The uprights of the clips are stamped "VOGUE." These 1950’s marvels are in super condition and are the definition of special-occasion earrings!

Fabulously Fine CINER Faux Turquoise, Enamel & Rhinestone Pave' Earrings
If I had seen these earrings in a fine jewelry boutique, I would not have questioned the material: flawless Persian turquoise, diamonds, gold, and lustrous bright navy blue enamel. But one look at the backs and you know Ciner has done it again in fabulous faux! Each generously sized earring is 1 ¼" high and 1 3/8" wide. The domed triangles have rounded corners and each side has a curvy gold-plated inset of crystal rhinestone chatons. The centers boast large faux turquoise oval cabs in golden settings. The earrings have clip backs with unique vinyl cushion tops—so comfortable! They are signed "Ciner" on both the findings and on the earrings themselves. These gorgeous vintage earrings are in excellent condition and are sure to make your ears feel loved!

Lacy & Long West Germany Filigree Flower with Richly Hued Rhinestones
This 1960’s Western Germany filigree flower is 3 ½" high and 1 ¾" wide. The lacy petals are set with flowerettes of brass centered by alternating garnet and fuchsia chaton rhinestones. The fuchsia ones have the intense pink color of rubies. Closer to the center are AB fuchsia marquise stones and the center is a raised AB chaton in fuchsia. The curvy stem has a wire-twist design and is punctuated with three chatons and a conical leaf. The brooch has a safety clasp pin and an applied "Western Germany" plaque. This perky, ultra-pink flower is in excellent condition.

KREISLER 1946 Retro -For Your First Lady- Adjustable Tassel Necklace & Earrings
This quintessentially Retro set by Kreisler has a sensual snake chain necklace with tassel terminal and matching earrings—all channel-set with sapphire color rhinestone baguettes. Jacques Kreisler debuted this set in 1946 as part of their "For Your First Lady," line.
The gold-plated snake chain necklace is 17 ¼" long and the fully round tassel adds another 1 ½". The supple chain is 3/16" wide and thanks to the baguette hook ornament which is actually the clasp, you can wear necklace with the hook close to your neck or lower near tassel. The inside curve of this clasp is stamped "Kreisler" in block letters. The back of the snake chain has some areas of wear to the gold-plating as do the sides of the clasp but the front is bright and lustrous.
The earrings are 2 1/8" long and 5/8" wide and have the same channel-set baguette tops with fully rounded tassels. These tassels are made of gilt rods which are all jointed to swing independently! One earring has the full script "Kreisler USA" stamp on the side and the other has "Kreisler" only; also, one earring has a partial "Sterling" stamp on the upright of the screw finding. (I believe the neck chain is gold-plated brass and the fittings and ear findings may be sterling vermeil.) All the sapphire glass baguettes are intact with great color and no loss of foiling.
The Kreisler name is synonymous with distinctive Retro style jewelry in the manner of the fine New York and French studios. Their production of women’s jewelry in this era was limited to 1948-1952 so little is seen today.

C1945 CORO Sterling / Rose Vermeil Gaspipe Tubular Collar Necklace
This WWII period Coro sterling necklace has a flattering rose-gold vermeil finish so popular during the Cocktail era of swank evening affairs. The tubular, or "gas pipe" style as it was known in Europe, conforms to the neckline most comfortably and creates a fluid collar of polished metal. The necklace has an inner diameter of 15 ¾"; the outer edge is crimped in the manner of a seam on rib knit. The sleek box clasp is easily accessed with a raised button. The "Coro Sterling" mark with Pegasus is stamped on the clasp. I would say chic collar was probably never or rarely worn as it is in excellent condition. The style fills in a plain neckline beautifully or can be worn with pendants or longer chains over high collars and simple tops. It’s a 1940’s Coro classic that looks as lustrously modern today as it did decades ago.

Delicious 5-Link JULIANA Bracelet with Special Effect Pink & Green Stones
This magical D&E Juliana bracelet has a very unusual combination of special-effect, ombre’ colored stones that also have unusual shapes: the marquises have pebbled tops and the domed cabochons have facetted bottoms! All these stones have a lovely melding of peachy-pink and light peridot green—rather like a pastel watermelon effect; the marquises also have an iridescent finish. Light peridot chaton rhinestones in two sizes add extra glitter. The gold-plated bracelet is 7 ½" long, 7/8" wide, and ½" deep. The characteristic five-link construction and fold-over clasp practically "autograph" this Juliana for us. There is light wear to the plating on the back of the oval links only; otherwise, this tantalizing, two-tone D&E bracelet is in super condition.

Striking AUSTRIA 5 Shades of Topaz Stones Peaked Pin / Pendant, Schreiner Style
This triple-layer "cake" or peaked Austrian brooch has an incredible amount of spark in its cut crystal, unfoiled stones—yes, unfoiled--and they are as brilliant as colored diamonds! The brooch measures 2" in diameter by 1 ¼" high. The lacy "ribbon candy" bands on the edges of the tiers add to the sweetness of the confection. The chatons are a different shade of citrine, topaz, and smoky quartz, are foiled and set closed back. The marquises are topaz and cognac are set open-back and set table-down (as Schreiner often did). Thus, there are five colors of glittering jewels! The center stone is also cognac and set table down which gives a dramatic peak to the brooch.
The reverse shows the solid construction of the piece and the applied "Made in Austria" tag. You will see three looped supports which can be used to slip a chain through and wear the brooch as a pendant! The construction was demanding and the many tiers and stones really give one appreciation of the skill used to make costume jewelry in the past. The brooch has a safety clasp pin and is in excellent condition. The colors are so rich and the reflections are so apparent that they nearly hypnotize you!

Delizza & Elster JULIANA Black & White Layered Leaf Pin
The high-contrast black and white of this DeLizza & Elster Juliana pin adds even more drama to the multi-layer style! The 2 ½" long bough features a large white leaf prong-set with opaque marquises over which bends a white flower with smaller white marquises. An artistic pair of loops is layered over each other; each has prong-set jet rhinestones. The finishing touch—the stem—has small glued jet rhinestones. The back of the brooch shows the open and closed settings and the "wire over" technique made famous by D&E. The pin secures with a safety clasp. This sharp Juliana foliage fantasy is in excellent condition.

Gorgeous HOBE' Tall Flower Basket with Faux Coral, Pearls & Turquoise
This large vintage Hobe flower basket has the retro styling of an earlier era and is set high and low with faux jewels. It measures 2 5/8" high and has a domed, footed vase from which spring forth flowers set with faux pearls, turquoise, coral, and carnelian (one small turquoise is set point-up and one larger one is mottled in hue). Realistically detailed leaves enliven the composition. The basket’s handle is textured and twisted, the body has a fine pattern of vertical ribs accented with a polished rim and wire-twist trim. The foot is pave set with faux coral and turquoise cabochons. The brooch has a safety clasp pin and a "Hobe’ " signature plaque. This lively brooch is in great condition and has the quality of design and material that made William Hobe’s costume jewelry so esteemed.

This hypnotic VENDOME double-strand necklace is made of black diamond cut-crystal beads in facetted teardrops and bicones. The necklace’s outer strand is 24" long. The finish on these Swarovski beads is Jet Hematite. It resembles their aurora borealis effect only it’s sleekly metallic and all the more dramatic thanks to the opaque black of the beads. The fold-over clasp has a crystal baguette rhinestone on the top; the two bead separators are set with three jet baguettes each. Modernist Franco REBAJES Silver-Plated Leaves Pendant Necklace
This Franco Rebjaes silver-plated brooch links four simple leaves with scrolling tendrils to form a natural quatrefoil on a patinated disk. The pendant measures 2 ¼" in diameter. Each leaf is applied separately by brass rivet to the oxidized disk base which has a hand-scalloped edge. The reverse of the pendant has the "Rebajes" stamp. The silver-plated chain is 24" long and has a spring-ring clasp. This is an unusual silver-plated piece from one of the masters of mid-century jewelry design.
