Genuine Large Carved IVORY Rose on Gold-Filled Stem Pin A lush full-bloom rose is carved from genuine ivory and set on a gold-filled stem for a luxe spin on Mother Nature. The 2" long pin is about 1 ¼" wide and the multi-layered rose is about 3/8" thick. The natural graining of the ivory is evident when viewed up close.

The back of the pin has a safety clasp and is signed "K.L. 12K GF." This versatile blossom is in excellent condition.

Vintage 14K Gold Ruby & Diamond Moderne Stripes Ring This vintage 14K yellow gold ring is set with diamonds and rubies in a pattern resembling diagonal bands of ribbon. The gem mounting of the ring is 9/16" and ½" wide. The diamonds are set in white gold and the rubies are prong-set in yellow gold and are set higher than the diamonds. The rubies have very rich fuchsia-red saturation. On each side, the ring band is split at the shoulders—a visual extension of two prongs—and is solid at the back; size is 6.

The inside of the ring is stamped "14KP" (P indicating plumb gold, not plating) and the hallmark looks like "SBT." The rind is in wonderful condition and has a simple and timeless design that is appropriate for any age.

WELLS Sterling Vermeil & Genuine CORAL Fantasy Flower Pin This "fanta-sea" flower by Wells is made of many fern-like petals or strands of seaweed which radiate from a center of genuine coral. The dimensional flora design is 2 5/8" in diameter and ¾" deep. The textured sterling arms or petals have a very reflective gold surface with no wear or tarnish. The coral shows the natural porous surface and is held by four prongs.

A plate on the back is signed "Wells Sterling." This brooch is certainly a stunner and has the quality construction and design of fine jewelry.

Timeless ENGEL BROTHERS 14K Yellow Gold & Genuine PEARLS Eternity Circle Pin Symbolizing eternal love and faith, this vintage 14K yellow gold and genuine pearl pin by Engel Brothers measures 1" in diameter. The highly polished ribs of gold alternate with trios of white pearls.

The back of the pin is stamped with "14K" and the jeweler’s hallmark of Engel Brothers of New York. It has a safety clasp. The pin is in excellent condition and comes in the original velvet-covered and padded presentation box from Wood Abbott jewelers, a retailer of fine jewelry, long since out of business.

Vintage Cut CRYSTAL PAGODA Pendant on White Gold-Filled Chain Necklace This vintage cut crystal pagoda pendant has the realistic dimension and depth created by carving the multi-storied temple from the reverse. The pagoda,most likely cut in Japan, is set in a hand-crafted sterling silver mounting with wide strap sides and two secure, yet discreet, prongs. The pendant measures just under 1" high and is 7/8" wide and 5/16" deep.

The pendant comes on a new/old stock 16" long chain with spring-ring clasp which is stamped "1/20 14K G.F." The chain is the same color as white gold and matches superbly with sterling too. The pendant is in excellent condition and has the ability to reflect the colors you are wearing as well as add an exotic and elegant and reflective dash to your neckline!

Exceptional ITALY C1950 Shell CAMEO & Gilt .800 Silver Filigree Bracelet This circa 1950 Italian .800 silver and gilt bracelet showcases a lovely shell cameo centerpiece and exquisite filigree links. The bracelets’ amazing ornate links are made of filigree in the truest sense of the word: fine wires hand-worked into lacy jeweled scrolls and arabesques—not the machine stamped style see in many items. The tight coils around the cameo alternate between bright-white silver and gold while the various petal forms, coils, and paisleys of the square and flowers links are all gold in finish. The bracelet is 7 3/16" long and 1 ¼" wide at the cameo centerpiece.

The shell cameo shows a woman in profile with lush flowing locks and a gauzy bodice draped over her shoulders. The shell has clear cutting and no damage. The cameo is enclosed with an unusual frame of oval loops supported by a double wire-twist surround.

The back of the box clasp is stamped "800" and has a partial mark as well, the outline is that of the mark often used for "Italy." The bracelet is in wonderful condition and is an exceptionally fancy style that will provide a treat for the eyes—yours and your admirers!

Vintage Carved IVORY & Gilt SILVER Chinese / Japanese Pendant Ornate Mounting This vintage pre-ban carved ivory and gilt silver pendant is set in an incredibly intricate filigree wire box mounting and topped with a golden Asian character blessing.

The oval pendant measures 1 5/8" high (not including bail) by 1" wide. The ivory plaque is smoothly polished yet you can still detect the natural grain. The symbol is affixed with two prongs thru the back. It seems to be composed of several characters. I cannot discern whether they are Japanese or Chinese; I believe detect "life" and "strength" in the Chinese language. It is probably an adage or longer blessing.

The setting of the ivory has a mind-numbing amount of curled and twisted wires, resembling the elaborate art of paper quilling, only done in wire. Tiny golden balls and scrolls are applied to fill in the areas between the curled leaves and flowers.

I have tested the mounting and it is of sterling purity. Gilt silver was often used for this type of laborious eastern jewelry work. The reverse of the mounting is signed, also in an Asian character. The pendant is in wonderful condition and comes in its original fabric-lined, silk-covered box. I would date it to about 1960. I have added a 24" long gold-filled chain with spring clasp from an old store stock purchase, never worn.

Exquisite 1940's Two-tone 10K Gold & Large Synthetic RUBY Ring This is no ordinary 1940’s ladies gold ring: from the extremely finely executed two-color ring band, to the unusually large and flaw-free synthetic ruby, this 1940’s 10K gold ring is a standout. The step-cut, synthetic jewel measures 12x8mm and has angled corners.. Four prongs hold it securely. The color is ultra saturated and shifts ever to slightly to a darker fuchsia hue in natural light. The stone has no chips, cracks, or scratches.

The shoulders of the ring are layered: yellow rose engraved leaves sit atop a pink or rose gold shell. Concentric arcs graduate in size down the size 6 1/2 band. The inside of the ring is stamped 10K. This is truly a beautiful ring and the size of the stone is not to be overlooked.

Vintage Pre-Ban Carved Ivory & Sterling Hotei BUDDHA Cufflinks These mid-century vintage cufflinks are made of pre-ban ivory and sterling silver and depict Buddha or Hotei in a seated pose. The full figural representation of Hotei is just over 1" tall, ¾" wide, and ¼" deep. The hand-carving has fine detail: you can see the folds of the robes and earlobes and the different expressions in the mouths.

The links have sterling silver findings, each is stamped with "Ster." and the design patent number. The pair is in wonderful condition.

This style of Hotei is sometimes called the Laughing or Happy Buddha. Hotei is seen in all Asian cultures and is a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and auspicious fortune. Here, Hotei holds a small sack in his left hand which is believed to contain precious items to give to the deserving. He is the patron of the weak, the poor, and the young. Rub his round, large belly for added luck in your own life!

Darling DECO 1940's HORSE Head Hand-Painted Mini Glass Paperweight GF Pin This adorable vintage gold-filled collar pin has an Art Deco design of two circles with pierced wings centered upon a miniature paperweight glass of a horse head with bridle and bit. The width of the pin is 1 3/8" and the height is 9/16". The horse’s portrait has amazing detail considering its diminutive size: it shows the white tips on the ears and strip of white on the forehead, the nostril and the eyebrow too!

The reverse is stamped "1/20 10K AMCO" and the pin has a safety clasp. This sweet circa 1945 pin is in wonderful condition.

Mid Century MODERNIST 18K RGP GERMAN Modernist Swirl Ribbons Pin / Pendant This mid-century German modernist brooch has the feeling of a cosmic event unfolding and merges textured, molten curves with smoothly polished ribbons. The brooch measures about 1 ¾" across when the open, pointed end is at the bottom and is 1 ¾" high and 5/8" deep.

You can position the brooch so the swirl ends at any angle you like—you can even wear it as a pendant by pinning it on a ribbon to tie around your necklace or hanging it from a chain. (Chain shown not included, similar gold-filled chains are available.) The pin shaft extends slightly beyond the brooch in the Victorian manner and has a safety clasp. The applied jeweler’s tag reads "1/80/18Kt RGP, Germany, F". This mod, spin on the classic and timeless circle of life is in excellent condition.

VAN DELL Carved Peking Jade Glass & Gold-Filled Pendant & Earrings, ORIG BOX Rich green Peking jade glass ovals are set in yellow gold-filled mountings in this mid-century pendant and necklace set. The oval pendant measures 9/16" high (not including bail) and 7/16" wide. The fruit and foliage designs show mottled shades of apple green; the slight variations in "carvings" and details between the three pieces show the hand-finished details.

The back of the pendant has an applied circular plaque reading "VD 12K GF" signifying Van Dell, a maker known for the best quality gold-filled jewelry. The 18" fine-link chain has a spring-ring clasp stamped "1/20 14K."

The matching earrings are just over ½" high and 3/8" wide. They have adjustable screw findings stamped "Van Dell 1/20 12K G.F." on the ends of the screw adjustments.

This lovely vintage pendant and earring set came from the estate form which I got many fine pieces, either barely worn or never worn. This set has the original sturdy metal gift box with faux shagreen covering, velvet insert, satin printed cover of the private jeweler, price tag, and tissue insert. Of course, all the pieces are in excellent condition.

Vintage VICTORIAN REVIVAL Gold-Filled, Taille D'Epargne Enamel BAR PIN This vintage gold-filled bar pin is elaborately etched with heart-shaped scrolls enameled in the taille d’epargne manner over a background of finely engraved, tiny scattered leaves. The unusually long pin measures 3" long by ½" wide and has a domed top surface.

The pin has a safety clasp and it is signed "1-20 10K G. F. P.S. Co." This company started operations in the 1880’s and while this lovely bar pin has a Victorian style I do believe that it is Victorian Revival and probably dates to the 1940’s. It is in super condition with no signs of wear.

Irish Imported CLADDAGH Gold-Plated Adjustable Bangle Bracelet This vintage gold-plated adjustable Irish Claddagh bangle takes the traditional symbol of enduring friendship and romantic love and places it front and center on an engraved bangle. The front motif of a heart is topped with a crown and presented by two hands is 1 /2" high and has an inner diameter of 7 ¼" at minimum size; it expands about ½" more to allow on/off easily.

The sides of the bangle are engraved all around with undulating vines and stylized leaves. The inside has two marks: Irish Made and "NEJ 8 F.G. Plated." The bangle is in wonderful condition and has a deep golden hue that give is the appearance of fine high-carat gold jewelry.

Nile Style! BIG Carved Semiprecious Gemstone Scarabs Bracelet Nothing tiny or timid about this vintage carved scarabs bracelet! Each of the five links is set with a different opaque hardstone: pink quartz, tiger’s eye quartz, aventurine, carnelian, and onyx. The bracelet is 1" wide and 7 ¾" long.

Each beetle has incised features, front and back, with carved eyes and is set in a brilliant gold-plated sawtooth bezel. The bracelet closes with an easy-to-use hook clasp. This Cleopatra-worthy bracelet is in great condition and has real presence!
