MODERNIST Hand-Crafted Sterling "Wide Wave" Links Necklace
A distinctive oval link of two "waves" joined by soldered rings is repeated in this continuous 33 ½" long sterling silver Modernist style necklace. Each link measures 1 ¾" (including one end ring) and about 5/8" wide and has a brushed exterior surface (not glaring to the eye and conceals any minor scuff very well). The open style gives this studio-crafted artwork a lightness of spirit and allows the garment beneath to show through, as splashes of color on a passing wave. The necklace is not signed or marked but tests as sterling purity. It is in very fine condition and makes a bold punctuation mark on a simple top or dress.

Sterling Silver Butterfly Pin with Genuine Dried Flowers in Resin
What could be more naturally beautiful than a butterfly made of real dried wildflowers? This unique hand-crafted sterling pin measures 1 5/8" wide and 1 ½: high. The deep body is filled with symmetrical layouts of dried flowers in muted shades of burgundy, yellow, and violet arranged for posterity in clear resin. Two antennae and a sterling body add a bit of sparkle. The pin is stamped "925" on the reverse for sterling purity and it secures with a safety catch. In wonderful condition, this beguiling butterfly brings her own garden with her wherever she travels!

IVAR HOLTH Norway Modernist Sterling Guilloche Enamel Petal Earrings
These mid-century Modernist sterling silver earrings were designed by Norwegian artist Ivar Holth and enameled in white using the guilloche technique. Each petal-form earring is 1 1/8" high and is gilded on the back and the edges. Tiny rays or ribs radiate from the point of each earring, suggesting the folds of a flower petal. The earrings have clip backs and are stamped "925S Sterling Norway" with the hallmark of Ivar Holth (sometimes misspelled Holt). The lustrous enamel earrings are in excellent condition. Their gently evocative form complements both abstract and representational shapes so they will go perfectly with other enamel necklaces and bracelets.

BIG, Bold, Beautiful Aventurine & Sterling Silver Link Bracelet
For the woman who wants to be noticed, here’s a very impressive sterling silver and aventurine bracelet! The massive link style measures 1 ¾" wide by 71/2" long and weighs 53 grams. Each panel of misty green aventurine has a highly polished surface, offset nicely by the rope-twist and scroll patterns of the oxidized sterling. The fold-over clasp holds the bracelet securely. It is stamped ".925" on each half of the clasp. This contemporary creation is in new, unworn condition.

Delightful Sterling Dolphins Collar/Necklace & Cuff Bracelet
This sleekly styled sterling silver collar and bangle are adorned with adorable dolphins! The collar necklace is a tube 3/16" in diameter with figural dolphin terminals, each 1 1/8" long. The fins and bodies are realistically detailed right down to eyes and blow holes! The collar is flexible so that you can pull the two ends apart about 6" to slip it on and off. It lays on the neck with one dolphin slightly above the other—as though they are leaping in the waves! (The close-up shows the arrangement more accurately than the first shot.) The cuff bracelet is also flexible and opens wider than shown; when worn, the front opening is about 1". Both pieces are stamped "KBN c STER" on each of the dolphins. This delightful dolphin set is in great condition and will be sure to put you "in the swim!"

Very Large, Dynamic Gilt Sterling ATOMIC Modernist Pin / Pendant
This generously sized brooch/ pendant is hand-cast of sterling and gold-plated to create a dynamic display of the artist’s spirit. The brooch is 4 7/8" wide, 3" high, and about ½" deep. The form looks like an abstraction of leaves and berries or, perhaps, purely atomic forms. The brooch has a safety clasp pin as well as a bale which can accommodate your choice of chain, cord or ribbon, or beaded strand of up to 3mm in width. It is signed on the back "JB" and also "Sterling." The piece is in great condition with no damage and only the faintest of gold wear at a few of the back edges.
This one-of-a-kind artwork has a size and vibrancy of design for the person who has strong personal style and loves attention!

Sculptural Vintage Sterling Bypass Bangle with Ball Terminals
Light on the arm and intriguing to the eyes, this vintage sterling bangle bracelet has a sculptural bypass style which gives it a width of 1 ½" to the outside edge of each silvery sphere. The double tubular form—nicely patinated at the indented center seam—is 3/16" wide; the inner diameter is 2 ½". The bangle has a soldered plaque signed "Sterling" with the maker’s initials which seem to be A&K. This Victorian-inspired bangle is in great condition.

Pure Modernist ED LEVIN Sterling Silver & Culture Pearl Star Brooch
This striking Modernist design executed in Sterling and centered with a cultured pearl was designed by master jeweler Ed Levin. The mid-century brooch / tac pin measures 2 ¾" in diameter and has hand-formed rays which change axes on the edges to create slender tips. The cultured pearl is pure white and impeccable in finish; the tack pin mounting keeps the design clean and allows you to wear the star on nearly any fabric. One arm of the star is stamped "Sterling" and one is signed with the early studio block-letter signature "LEVIN."
In her book, "Modernist Jewelry" 1930-1960," Marbeth Schon shows this piece in gold and describes Levin as "an American success story" with a commitment to quality and good design who made an honest use of materials. This simply striking example of Levin’s work is in excellent condition.

Long, Lovely & Witty Artisan Sterling 3 - Leaf Pendant Necklace
This witty and naturalistic sterling silver branch pendant is made of three tiers of hand-formed, brushed-finish leaves. The pendant is 4" long and 1 ½" wide. The topmost leaf has the highest domed shape and is stamped "Sterling" all around the edge. The middle leaf, moderately domed, has "Sterling" stamped in horizontal rows. The final leaf, the widest, is stamped "Sterling" around the edge as well and swings freely. The elegant 30" oval link chain has a spring-ring clasp stamped "STG 925." The artist’s care tag labeled "Continuum" is attached. This unique, hand-made sterling necklace is in excellent, unworn condition.
