Modernist STERLING Silver Folded Ribbon Cuff by PEARCE This Modernist style sterling silver cuff bracelet came from the Pearce studio and takes the form of a wide ribbon pleated and folded upon itself—quite the feat to accomplish in rigid metal! The cuff measures 1 ¼" high and has an inner diameter of 2 1/4" with a back opening of 1"; you can adjust it up or down a bit to suit your wrist.

The horizontal pleat in the silver angles down up in a casual way while the center raised band or pleat adds another layer of dimension to the cuff. The inside is signed "Sterling, Pearce." This extremely versatile, hand-crafted sterling bracelet is in wonderful condition and originally retailed for $300.

DAVID ANDERSEN Norway Sterling Enamel Modernist Large Cufflinks These vintage sterling gilt David Andersen cufflinks have a striking mid-century Modernist design and are guilloche’ enameled in pure white. Each of the larger kite-shaped faces is 1 3/16" high and 15/16" wide and engraved under the surface with splayed vertical ribs. The slimmer ends of the links are 1" long and 3/8" wide with a similar pattern.

A curved arm with a pivot for the slimmer end connects the front and back. One side is marked "D-A Sterling" and the other "Norway 925S." The translucent enamel is in excellent condition and the gilt finish appears fully intact as well (I have not polished the cufflinks).

Of course, depending on your taste or the style of your cuffs, you can wear either side of the cufflinks facing out. Thus, the links are suitable for either gender as well.

Sterling Silver Ribbon Style HEART Pin with Faceted Marcasites Alight with faceted marcasites in beaded leaf settings, this sterling silver pin takes the form of ribbons folded over in a casual way to enclose each other in a heart. The pin is 1 5/8" wide and 1 7/16" high. The setting is oxidized on the background while the tiny millegrain "beads" are brighter in tone which enhances the leaf outlines.

The back of the pin is stamped "KC 925" for sterling purity; the pin has a safety clasp and is in super condition.

Wide STERLING & Black LUCITE Acrylic 3-Layer Tubular Hinged Bangle This unusual vintage hinged bangle bracelet sandwiches a glossy black tube of acrylic or Lucite between two polished tubes of sterling silver for a bold bangle that won’t go unnoticed! The bangle measures 7/8" wide and has an inner diameter of 2 ¼". The black tube is slight recessed below the silver ones so you can’t knock it The sterling tubes are approximately 6mm thick and are very strong—they don’t bend or flex.

I am guessing the material of the black tube is a type of plastic, yet it is not carved but has no seams. It could be any of several hard plastics; I don’t think it is enamel over silver as there are no chips or flow lines and the tube has a different temperature than the sterling. All the tube ends at the hinges and opening are finished with textured caps. By the clasp are two stamps, one reads "925" and facing the other direction the mark is a star and 65 with P5 I believe, which is probably the jeweler’s hallmark.

A fold-over/snap clasp reliably secures the bracelet on the wrist. The noteworthy and highly versatile bangle is in very fine condition with no damage.

Vintage Sterling Silver ISIS Egyptian Goddess Necklace with Turquoise Cabochon This mystical sterling silver pendant depicts the Egyptian Goddess Isis with outspread wings holding a turquoise cabochon aloft. The pendant is 1 ¾" high and 1 ½" wide; the natural turquoise cabochon is about 5mm.

Isis has very wide wings with stamped feathers that meet the hinged bail at their tips. The pendant is stamped "Sterling" on the back.
The swinging bail hangs from an 18" long sterling chain with spring-ring clasp stamped "Sterling." The necklace is in lovely condition and adds a mysteriously feminine accent to your jewelry wardrobe.

Isis was revered for both her loving and motherly nature but also for her magical and deceitful powers. She used these against, Ra, the Sun God to both poison and later save him and also to resurrect her husband, Osiris, who had been drowned by his brother. Isis is worshipped today in Egypt and much of the world and is a patroness of women, mothers, children, magic, medicine, and the Ritual of Life.

Sterling & Marcasites CROSS Pendant on Sterling Box Chain Necklace Glittering faceted marcasites set in sterling silver give subtle glimmer to the pierced design of this vintage cross pendant. It stands 2" without the bail and 2 3/8" with the bail; the width across the arms is 1 ¼". The center has a layered cross-within-a-cross motif with a larger marcasite mounted in a bezel.

The pendant is stamped "925 Sterling" on the reverse and comes on a 24" long fine box-link chain with spring-ring clasp stamped "925 Italy." The bail has a generous opening so you may substitute a ribbon, cord, or a strand of small beads up to 4mm in width for a different look. This carefully crafted symbol of faith is in very fine condition.

Carved GODDESS Pendant Necklace in STERLING Headress with Semi Precious GEMS This sterling and semiprecious gemstone pendant with the face of goddess crowned wears an elaborate headdress and is entirely hand-crafted, most likely in Indonesia. Showing the popular Sajen style of ornamentation (a popular line whose pieces are also made in Indonesia), the pendant measures2 1/8" high not including the bail which adds 3/8".

The bone face has a peaceful expression with open eyes—very realistically carved and extremely smoothly polished. The headdress is made of hundreds of tiny silver ballotini and is tipped with a scrolled circle that balances the design nicely. The gems are all bezel-set and facetted with fine saturation of color and include a large round blue topaz, a round amethyst, and an oval peridot.

The back is marked .925 for sterling purity. There are openings behind the stones to allow light in so the reflections and color are enhanced. There are no maker’s hallmarks so we don’t know which fine artisan made it. I have included a 18" long fluid sterling silver snake chain with hook-spring clasp stamped "ITALY" and ".925" since this style of pendants come without—thus, you can wear the goddess right away. The bail has an inner opening of 8mm so you can easily try a cord or strand of beads as well for extra color. The condition is lovely and the look is ethereal!

Bold Turquoise Glass Cabochon & Sterling Silver Bangle A large cabochon of polished turquoise glass is set in into a fine, wire-twist wrapped bezel for a bangle bracelet with real punch. The jewel measures 1 3/8" across and 3/8" high and has the web-like tones of genuine turquoise matrix.

The inner diameter of the bracelet is 2 5/16". The Sterling mark is on the back of the bangle. Easy to put on and remove thanks to a simple hook closure at one end of the bezel, this highly polished beauty is in brand-new, unworn condition.  

Dazzling JUDITH JACK Sterling Flower- Rose & Pyramid Cut Marcasites Yes, this is one dazzler of a flower—the pyramid- and rose-cut marcasites in this Judith Jack pin just glitter non-stop! The dimensional sterling silver brooch measures 2 ¼" long and 1 ¼" wide. The fantasy creation's petals spiral around and lead to a cone that sprouts from a looped stem. It’s pure poetry in oxidized silver set off perfectly by the deep gray tones of the bead-set marcasites.
The flower has a safety clasp pin and is stamped with the diamond "JJ" hallmark of Judith Jack--a maker known for fine quality and very distinctive designs. The pin is also marked "Sterling." Very brilliant by daylight and more captivating by low evening light—marcasites were used as convincing diamond substitutes in the days of gaslight and candlelight! This vintage bejeweled bloom is in excellent condition.

BOLD Wide Sterling Organic Wave Cuff Bracelet - Signed If you love bold sterling jewelry like I do, this cuff will really catch your eye! It has an all-over brushed finish, rather like ultrafine waves undulating across the surface, mimicking the wavy, organic outline of the silver bracelet itself. It measures just under 2" wide at the center front and 1 1/8" at the back ends. The opening is currently 1 ¼" but it could be adjusted a little.

The inside is signed with an unusual hallmark containing "KD" and the .925 sterling purity mark. The cuff is gently worn with no significant scratches. The soft brushed finish not only hides any minor scuffs and also gives the cuff a certain refinement as well as a visually cooler appearance that makes it adaptable to both formal and casual attire.

Estate Sculptural, Organic ITALY Sterling Silver Bypass Ring This striking, sculptural sterling silver ring was cast with a classic bypass design weighted more heavily at the ends. The front is 7/8" high and the back tapers to 3/16. The style is oval on the interior, just like the natural form of the finger. The ring is a size 9 but with a firm hand could be sized up a bit or down as the ends do freely bypass each other.

Maker’s hallmarks include the 925 for sterling purity, HAN, and Italy. The ring is in very fine condition. The style is timeless, the fit is quite comfortable, and the look is clean and artistic.
 

Sterling Engraved & Tinted Heart Locket Necklace - Holds 4 Photos This precious sterling photo locket is unique in that it holds four photos—on each on the front and back walls of the heart and two on the dividing heart "door" within! The locket is 1" wide and 1" high (not including the bale which is stamped "Ster PPC). The front is engraved with three tinted pink and green flowers on a lattice background. The center has a smooth heart outline suitable for a monogram. The photo holders within come with vinyl/plastic covers (the larger ones cover ¾" wide images and the covers have arc openings at the upper corner; one has a few stress lines). The smaller center photos can be a hair over 5/8’ wide (their covers are not cut with an arc). The back of the heart is satin polished and has a little light surface wear.

A 20" box link sterling chain with spring-ring clasp compliments the heart locket; the flat link of the chain is stamped "925 Italy." I am charmed by the colored finish on the engraved flowers and the practical beauty of this novel locket really set it apart from the rest.
 

Distinctive Mexico Sterling Bypass Bangle Bracelet with Ball Terminals This timelessly stylish Mexican sterling silver bracelet has a distinctive bypass style that puts the overlapping ball terminals front and center. The bracelet is ¾" high at the bypass and has an inner diameter o f2 ½" across the width of the oval. To open or close, you lift the ball ends to slip past each other. The inside of the bracelet is stamped "925, TD-02, Mexico" on the inside and is in great condition. Its simple elegance lends itself equally well to wear with jeans and cotton tops or sleek evening pieces.  

Ravishing Ruby Red Cut-Crystal Beads & Rhinestone Bars Bracelet This bracelet does not whisper "pretty," it sings an aria of "Stunning" thanks to the ultra rich ruby red of the cut-crystal bicones and the dazzling rhinestone links. The measurements are 7 ¼" by 5/8". The three rows of crystals are cleverly arranged in triangular patterns with the channel-set rhinestone spacers placed diagonally. The bracelet is flexible and convertible. And, for a more understated look, you can flip it and wear it with silver-plated side of the spacers showing. The filigree clasp is sterling and stamped ".925" on the side. This estate bracelet is in excellent condition.  

Darling Sterling Garden Gate with Love Birds Pin, Signed A touching vignette of two love birds perched on a garden gate is rendered in cast sterling in this artisan pin. The gate is 2" high and 1 3/8" wide. Fine details include the hinges, latch, beaded feet, and wire inlays at the bottom border. The birds perch facing each other, one on the front of the gate, one on the back. The pin secures with a wide C clasp; the signature of a reverse "R" with "C" is stamped on the back. This sweet sterling pin is in excellent condition.
