Click for more detail...

Vintage REPOUSSE Sterling Roses, Fruits, Morning Glories & Wheat Hinged Bangle This vintage sterling silver hinged bangle is a rich bounty of repousse’ roses and fruits all around. The bangle is 3/8" wide and has an inner diameter across the width of 2 9/16"; it’s oval in form so it conforms to the normal shape of the wrist. The deeply defined harvest includes wheat, grapes, tomatoes, peaches, morning glories, wildflowers, roses, and others I can’t identify, can you?

The hinged is the push clasp style with a safety chain for added security. The clasp has two tiny hallmarks on it and the bangle does test as sterling purity; this is probably a European piece. It is in very fine condition and has a good, strong structure. The combined depth of the embossing and the patina enhance the design of the foliage and fruit.

1920's ART DECO Marcasite Pave' & Sterling Pendant Rose Bar Pin Lots of sparkle, some romance from a pave’ rose, and a swing and sway motion give this 1920’s Art Deco pendant bar pin personality plus. The overall dimensions are 1 ¾" high by 1 3/8" wide. The open diamond bar outlined in larger marcasites connects to two vertical bars, jointed above and below which, in turn, connect to a tiered oval entirely set on each level with tiny facetted marcasites. On the fourth, highest tier is a domed full-bloom rose with pierced details.

The back of the bar has a safety clasp pin and is stamped "Sterling" as is the center of the pendant under the rose. This period Deco double brooch is in wonderful condition.

Click for more detail...

1920's ART DECO Chrysoprase & Marcasite Sterling Set Ring This period 1920s Art Deco ring is made of cast sterling silver bead-set with faceted marcasites and featuring a large chrysoprase cabochon. The ring’s face is 1 1/16" high and ¾" wide. The setting’s depth is 9/32" including the deep decorated back which not only provides a smooth, curved and comfortable surface for your finger but also allows more light to pass through the gemstone.

The chrysoprase has an even medium forest green hue and is translucent and measures just under ¾" high. The ring band is size 5 and is stamped "Sterling" on the inside. The condition is wonderful on this authentic Art Deco ring and the size is certainly noteworthy. If you, too, are a Deco devotee, you’ll enjoy this one!

Vintage VAN DELL Sterling & Rhinestone Flower Drop Pendant Necklace Sparkle and sterling shine unite in a refined and elegant pendant from Van Dell. Click for more detail...

1920's Hoffman MORPHO Butterfly Wing Beach Sunset Scene Sterling Heart Pendant This circa 1925 sterling silver heart encases a beguiling tropical island scene hand-painted on genuine morpho butterfly wing. Imagine the care taken to not only carefully cut and frame the wings but paint a tiny scene upon them too! The pendant measures 1 1/8" high (not including the bail) and 1" wide. Two palm trees lean out into the ocean as waves lap the island’s shoreline; birds wing their way homeward as an orange sun slides into orange waves.

The back of the pendant is stamped "Hoffman Sterling" and the bail is also stamped "Sterling." A newer 16" chain with spring-ring clasp completes the necklace.
These magical creations became popular thanks to the 1924 British Empire Exhibition where the Thomas Mott Company displayed their striking butterfly wing jewelry. This piece is in wonderful condition with brilliant iridescence.

Click for more detail...

Vintage German Sterling Silver Cockatoo PARROT with Gem Eye Pin Here’s a darling pet who won’t ever need feeding and will be happy to perch on your lapel any day! This vintage sterling silver cockatoo parrot is 1 11/16" tall and sits on a tree branch 1 ¼" wide.

As I understand, cockatiels are a subset of the cockatiels and both are types of parrots. This silver fantasy model has a lacy filigree body with textured crest feathers, pert beak, elongated wing feathers, and a large green chrysoprase or jade cabochon eye. The tree branch has a natural bark finish which adds to charm.

The reverse has an affixed "Sterling Germany" plaque and safety clasp pin. This sweet bird probably dates to the 1950s and is in wonderful condition.

Click for more detail...

BOLD Wide Sterling Organic Wave Cuff Bracelet - Signed If you love bold sterling jewelry like I do, this cuff will really catch your eye! It has an all-over brushed finish, rather like ultrafine waves undulating across the surface, mimicking the wavy, organic outline of the silver bracelet itself. It measures just under 2" wide at the center front and 1 1/8" at the back ends. The opening is currently 1 ¼" but it could be adjusted a little.

The inside is signed with an unusual hallmark containing "KD" and the .925 sterling purity mark. The cuff is gently worn with no significant scratches. The soft brushed finish not only hides any minor scuffs and also gives the cuff a certain refinement as well as a visually cooler appearance that makes it adaptable to both formal and casual attire.

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item Deco_SS_Chryso_Marc_Necklace: Quality 1920's Art Deco Sterling, Chrysoprase & Marcasite Pendant Necklace
Click for more detail...

Quality 1920's Art Deco Sterling, Chrysoprase & Marcasite Pendant Necklace Dramatically Deco, this 1920’s sterling pendant necklace showcases a green chrysoprase cabochon surrounded by faceted marcasites in a geometric pierced mounting. The pendant itself is 1 3/8" long and 7/8" wide. The chrysoprase has a clean interior and glows gently. Each marcasite sits within a beaded-edge cell. The reverse of the pendant is stamped "sterling."

Just above the pendant is a dainty five-petal flower which leads to a larger eight-petal flower set with marcasites in two sizes. The two strands of the novelty neck chain connect to this flower at bars of triple marcasites with the dainty flowers above and below. The inner length of the necklace is 16 ½". It closes with a spring-ring clasp stamped "sterling." The necklace and pendant are in wonderful condition.

I believe the necklace is European; I know it’s a stunner with style that will make it a classic well into the next century as well.

This is a specially priced estate consignment item and does not qualify for further store discount, however, most store items do. New pieces arrive each day so please take time for a browse!

Click here to enlarge image and see more about item Blue_Cabs_SS_Modern_Brace: 1940's Arts & Crafts Style Sterling Bracelet with Deep Blue Gemstone Cabochons
Click for more detail...

1940's Arts & Crafts Style Sterling Bracelet with Deep Blue Gemstone Cabochons This circa 1940 sterling bracelet has three large cast links with an Arts & Crafts style reminiscent of Georg Jensen’s work. The bracelet is 7 ¼" long, 1" wide, and ½" deep. Each contoured link is cast with deep spiral flutes and is topped with a bezel and wire-twist-set deep blue cabochon gemstone. The color is so intense as to be black in some lighting. The stones may be lapis; the color is uniformly deep navy and it is apparent from the front and back this is natural material, not glass.

The bracelet ends with Art Deco style streamlined circle and horizontal bars link on each and a fold-over clasp. The central link has an applied "sterling" plaque. The wide fold-over clasp is also stamped "Sterling." The condition is very fine, with no damage, and the patina highlights the deep flutes admirably.
