Amazing Sterling Filigree Peacock Earrings - 4 Layers of Feathers
You will be astounded at the detail of these articulated sterling silver filigree peacock earrings. This is true filigree work at its painstaking finest! Not merely stamped-out designs, the minutely thin sterling wires are hand-bent and soldered into the intricate feathers and the detailed bodies of the birds. Each earring is 2 ¾" long and 1 3/8" wide at the widest portion of the fanned tail. This is the first pair I have seen with four tiers of the cupped round drops. The tiers, too, are joined so each layer of the tail moves independently. The earrings have posts with new vinyl clutches. They are stamped "925" for sterling purity on the back. This rightfully proud pair is in excellent condition.

IVAR HOLTH Norway Modernist Sterling Guilloche Enamel Petal Earrings
These mid-century Modernist sterling silver earrings were designed by Norwegian artist Ivar Holth and enameled in white using the guilloche technique. Each petal-form earring is 1 1/8" high and is gilded on the back and the edges. Tiny rays or ribs radiate from the point of each earring, suggesting the folds of a flower petal. The earrings have clip backs and are stamped "925S Sterling Norway" with the hallmark of Ivar Holth (sometimes misspelled Holt). The lustrous enamel earrings are in excellent condition. Their gently evocative form complements both abstract and representational shapes so they will go perfectly with other enamel necklaces and bracelets.

New/Old DANECRAFT Sterling & Amethyst Crystal Cross Necklace with ORIG TAG
This vintage Danecraft sterling cross pendant necklace is a rare find as it’s in superb, unworn condition and has the original Primavera booklet price tag. The cross is 3" long and 2" wide. Six oval amethyst color crystals are set in fancy prongs, open n the back. While their color is exactly like the most desirable amethyst gem hue, the perfect clarity of the cut stones leads me to believe they are glass. The back of the pendant has an applied signature "Sterling Danecraft" oval tag. The fancy, twist link chain is 24" long and closes with a spring-ring clasp also stamped "Sterling." The adorable little silver foil booklet is attached and states this is "An original Primavera Creation, Sterling Silver." The model number and $22.00 price are shown on the back. This necklace is part of a suite of Danecraft pieces I acquired from the estate of a collector who purchased only high-end costume jewelry in the 1960s and 1970s.
Victor Primavera started the company that was to become known worldwide as Danecraft in 1934 and their quality in sterling is legendary.

Sculptural Vintage Sterling Bypass Bangle with Ball Terminals
Light on the arm and intriguing to the eyes, this vintage sterling bangle bracelet has a sculptural bypass style which gives it a width of 1 ½" to the outside edge of each silvery sphere. The double tubular form—nicely patinated at the indented center seam—is 3/16" wide; the inner diameter is 2 ½". The bangle has a soldered plaque signed "Sterling" with the maker’s initials which seem to be A&K. This Victorian-inspired bangle is in great condition.

Impressive, Superbly Detailed Cast Sterling Figural HORSE Head Ring
This cast sterling silver ring depicts a strong horse in dimensional profile complete with bridle and bit. The exceptionally big design is 1 ¼" across the head, 1" high and ½" deep. The features are finely molded in this hand-made artisan piece; the rein hangs in a drape below the bridle and the tufts on the mane seem to be blowing in the breeze. It’s a powerful design. The size is 9 and the inside is stamped "sterling." Most likely a very limited production piece, if not a unique creation, this impressive sterling stallion will get a lot of attention!

Cut-Crystal Egyptian Pharaoh & Sterling Pendant Necklace
An exotic and regal Egyptian Pharaoh hand-made of cut crystal is inset into a sterling frame to create this royal jewel. The pendant is 2" high, 1 ¾" high, and ¼" thick. The face is majestically contemplative and when placed over a colored fabric the details really jump out. The eyes, neck, and inner ears have an acid-frosted finish. The frame is pierced to lighten the visual weight; a twisted cable offsets the silver. There is a little roughness to the upper left edge of the Pharaoh’s headdress (visible only from the side with magnification) and a small flake on the reverse; the rectangle behind the center of the headdress is the back of the setting. The frame tests as sterling. The flat, snake-link chain of 18" that I mated with the pendant is a fitting partner. Its clasp is stamped ".925" for sterling purity and the ring is signed "Italy." You can easily slip another chain, cord, or ribbon through the twisted wire bale. For a trip down the Nile or a stroll through the local mall or office, this one-of-a-kind Pharaoh pendant will set you apart!

1940's LEO GLASS Sterling Twin Bows with Faux Gems Chatelaine Pins
This WWII period double-brooch, or chatelaine, was designed by the much-respected Leo Glass Company in sterling silver and imitation sapphire and blue chalcedony. The bows are each 2 ½" wide, 1 ¼" high, and ½" deep. They are realistically folded and tied and each is set with two facetted faux sapphires and one sugar-loaf faux blue chalcedony cabochon. The shorter of the two fancy twisted chains is 6" long. Each bow has a safety clasp pin and an applied signature plaque reading "Leo Glass Sterling." One bow has a tiny bit of wrinkling in the lacquer on the upper left curl, otherwise, they are in pristine condition: no tarnish, no missing elements. This chatelaine can be worn on one side of a lapel or collar or across the décolletage or neckline. So many options with this dazzling Leo Glass duo!
