Glitzy New/Old Store Stock Rhinestone Cat Pin with Wagging Tail, Orig. Box This new/old store stock rhinestone cat pin is set with a luscious combination of crystal and colored facetted rhinestones—and she wags her tail to show her pride with her glitzy image! The pin is 3 ¾" tall and 1 5/8" wide. She has big emerald marquise eyes, an amethyst nose, a marigold jeweled collar, white pear-shaped ears, and applied wire whiskers. This pretty kitty sits on a jet rhinestone ledge over which her link-set tail sways.

All the stones are prong-set in rhodium-plated mounting; the pin closes with a safety clasp. This fabulous feline is in excellent, unworn condition and comes in a hard-plastic jewel box with reversible navy/burgundy faux suede presentation pad.  

Deeply Carved Vintage BAKELITE Tropical Fruit & Leaves Dress Clip This thick, deeply carved 1930’s butterscotch Bakelite dress clip reminds me of the lush tropical foliage and fruits in old bark cloth with its variety of overlapping leaves topped by a cross-hatched fruit or nut. The clip measures 2 ¼" high by ½" thick. The clip back has small teeth on the underside for a secure grip. The clip tests positively as Bakelite and gives you an instant Retro pop of color and tropical texture. Try it on a chain, colorful scarf, or ribbon as a pendant too!

Vintage DeLIZZA & ELSTER Long Rhinestone & Faux Pearl CHANDELIER Earrings These vintage scene-stealing chandelier earrings were made by DeLizza & Elster—the company famous for the Juliana line of over-the-top costume jewels. Each rhodium-plated earring is 2 7/8" long and 1 ½" wide at the triple faux pearl pendant. The pearls themselves are large at about 9mm and are accented by aurora borealis chaton rhinestones (the stone above the top pearl is AB too). The scrolls have finely ribbed edges and add an airy element to the earrings. The rhinestone chain strands are prong-set with crystal chatons.

The earrings have clip backs, one was soldered a bit off-center but you can’t tell when you have the earrings on. The condition is lovely and the visual impact is undeniable!

EGYPTIAN Goddess Falcon Champleve' Enamel Pin - King Tut Design This vintage Egyptian bird pin is enameled in the champleve’ style and modeled after a falcon or vulture in the Tutankhamun collection. The gilt brass bird has a wingspan of 2" and is 1 3/16" high. The design represents the goddess Nekkbet and came from a necklace that was suspended from King Tut’s neck in the eleventh or twelfth layer of his mummy wrappings, close to the body. It is believed that this he probably wore this the pendant during his lifetime.

Channels are stamped or cut into the body and filled with vibrant enamels in bright red, black, turquoise, and cobalt. The reverse has a simple C clasp as may have been used in antiquity. This colorful feathered creature is in wonderful condition and certainly has a strong character. The pin can slow be worn as a pendant with a converter.

Pastel AB Rhinestone Scalloped Adj. Necklace & Earrings This dazzling vintage adjustable necklace and earring set is ablaze with pastel aurora borealis rhinestones in marquise and round cuts. The necklace is about ¾" deep at the scalloped front and has an overall length of 15 ¼" including the hook. All stones are prong-set in gold-plated metal and reflect a lively range of pink, green, aqua, orange, yellow, blue, and lilac hues.

The earrings are 1 3/8" long and 1" wide. They have comfortable clip backs and add instant light and uplift to the face and earlobes. The set is in very fine condition—glam it up and wear the earrings and necklace together or be more understated in your radiance and wear just one or the other.

1930's Colorful WOOD FRUIT Cha Cha CHARMS Bracelet Let Carmen Miranda juggle fruit on her head—you’ll be far more chic and comfy in this vintage 1930’s charm bracelet of carved and tinted wooden fruit. The brass link chain measures 7 ½" and closes with a spring-ring clasp. The bounty of fruits includes: grapefruit, bananas, plums, pear, apples, and orange. The apples have small, flat bases; the pear and orange have indented bases (the porous wood used for the orange looks like orange peel); the grapefruits have radiating lines from the bottom; and the bananas have ribs!

This cheery cha-cha bracelet is in super condition and all the fruits retain their color—sweet!

1920's DECO Carved CELLULOID Fish Pendant & Ribbon SLIDER Necklace The 1920’s celluloid pendant of this slider necklace of mottled green tones was made to simulate the Asian jade so popular at the time. It was hand-carved with a fish in an underwater seascape to enhance the Japanese aesthetic. The pendant measures 2 ½" wide by 1 5/8" high. The fish is head-down with her tail curled an rising above to form an open circle. The scales, eyes and mouth are realistically carved. The background of horizontal broken waves is overlaid with seaweed fronts.

A black grosgrain ribbon, about 29 ½" in length and5/16" in width, can be adjusted with the box slider: use it to create a long tail for the pendant, a shorter tail or to wear the pendant closer to the neckline (slip the ribbon on with slider behind your neck and pull iti closer to you). The condition is quite fine all around, no breaks or chips on the pendant or slider and no wear visible on the ribbon.

A period slider necklace is always a rare treat and the handwork of this Art Deco period celluloid find sets it apart from all the other fish in the jeweled sea.

1940's LARGE Carved WOOD Fantasy Flowers Brooch Pin This large-as-life 1940’s carved wood fantasy bouquet of exotic blossoms features superb carving and beautifully grained wood. The flowers—I’m sure some very smart gardener will recognize the species—are 4" high and 2 ½" wide. The stems curve to the left and pluming leaves curl under as they rise to the cross-hatched buds. The base of the brooch has a double bar of diagonal flourishes.

The back of the brooch has a securely inlaid metal safety clasp pin, a fine way to finish a non-precious piece. The carving was probably done by an artist during the WWII period when novelty materials were popular. It is in wonderful condition and can be worn on heavy or thin fabrics—it’s light in weight—at any angle for a flourish of Retro style.

Vintage Golden 3-D PYRAMID Pendant Necklace Channel the powers of the ancient pyramids any time by slipping on this vintage gold-plated pendant. The dimensional design is 1" across and about 5/8" high. The pyramid is cast with tiny stones for a realistic finish.

Luxurious 1940's Aqua Faux Jewel & Black Velvet Adjustable Choker Necklace I love the drama of this vintage faux aquamarine jewel and velvet choker: tie it high or low, with bow ends in back or to the side, or use it as a headband or chignon wrap! The luxe accessory is made of large hard plastic, facetted aquamarine jewels (glass would have been too heavy) which are set, open-back, in individual prongs and invisibly sewn to the black velvet tube. The choker portion is wired too, so it hugs your neck without pinching and has a straight line on the neck.

The choker portion is a little over 12" in length and the total length is about 52". The width is about ¾". The jewels have such sparkle, you’d swear they were lead crystal—these 1930’s-40's simulants are so beguiling! (Wartime shortages of European crystals lead to some very creative and impressive American gem substitutes.) This unique choker is in excellent condition and I know you’ll find a number of ways to employ its flattering form!  

Brilliant Multicolor Acrylic Faux Gem SHOULDER DUSTER Earrings Rich jewel tones captured in acrylic facetted jewels dangle from these 4 ½" long earrings. The stones are highly reflective, lightweight, and bezel-set in bright gold-plated mountings. The lower width at the two sapphire jewels is 1 5/8". The earrings have clip tops and are in wonderful condition. Add color, light and drama to your face in an instant with these fabulous jeweled fringes for your ears!

Vintage DECO Moderne Brass & Azurite Pendant Earrings These sleek and timeless pendant earrings combine industrial Deco or Moderne circular brass tops with tapered tablets of carved blue gemstones, most likely azurite. The look hints at Egyptian Revival but is versatile enough to go across styles and ages.

Each earring is 1 3/4" long and about 7/8" wide at the base of the tablet. These pendants are opaque navy-teal blue with just the slightest hint of lighter crystal inclusions scattered randomly: tiny green specks and pale clouds. The earrings have silver posts and new clutch backs. The earrings are in lovely condition; the brass is unpolished and the azurite pendants have rich color and fine surface luster.

1930's Green BAKELITE Bangle with Chrome Metal Band Detail This uncommon 1930’s Bakelite bangle is inset with a slim band of chrome or nickel-plated metal to jazz up this collectible accessory. The bangle is 5/16" wide with an inner diameter of 2 ½". The color is a rich green throughout. The bangle tests positive as Bakelite and is in very fine condition. What a great tie-together for jewel ensembles blending colored plastics and silver!

Dazzling C1930 Ornate CZECH/ AUSTRIAN Citrine Crystal Gems Dress Clip/ Pendant This is one of those truly superb vintage pieces where the stones just jump out at you thanks to superb quality lead crystal and sharp faceting—no foil needed here! This circa 1930 dress clip of patinated brass measures 2" by 2" and has a slightly domed face, pierced around the edges with fleurs de lys and centered by a flower-form design interspersed with tiny blossoms.

Each of the golden citrine cut crystal oval stones is 10mm long and very saturated in color. They truly do reflect light magnificently! The quality strongly suggests the crystal was from Czechoslovakia or Austria. The clip back is firm and very clean and the stones in very fine shape with no cracks or chips, just a tiny bit of facet edge wear. I’d say this piece was worn infrequently, if at all. And I would definitely say it deserves to be taken out often and I’d recommend showing it off as a pendant as demonstrated here (if you don’t have a suitable chain, I do, just ask!)

Bold MOD 1960's Black & White Layered Petals Adj. Collar Necklace You can never go wrong with black and white accessories and this vintage adjustable collar necklace layers plastic petals into a look that is savage and chic. The laminated petals are 1 ¼" long each and the inner circumference of the necklace can adjust from 12 ¼" up to 14 ½".

The extender is chain-linked with alternating black and white round beads; the brass hook clasp can be set anywhere on its length. The petals are permanently affixed atop each other and strung on clear nylon cord. This 1960’s MOD era necklace is in great condition. Wear it to make an impact!
