Jazzy Black Cameo on Carved Lucite Pendant with Topaz Rhinestones
This bejeweled reverse-carved Lucite acrylic disk is topped with a molded black cameo profile of a classic Greek or Roman beauty and sparkled with Swarovski topaz rhinestones. The pendant hangs from a japanned (black enameled) fancy-link neck chain with faceted topaz glass stations.
The pendant is 2" high, 1 5/16" wide, and about 5/8" thick at the center. The cameo is made of a very hard plastic and has a high gloss finish; the reverse shows the firm adhesion to the Lucite oval which has carved scallops on the underside. The 20" long neck chain closes with a gilt brass spring-ring clasp. All the materials are vintage or antique and the cameo pendant dates to about 1940. The drama of metal, glass, and Lucite combines with black, crystal, and topaz to created a modern yet sentimental accessory.

Vintage Intaglio Glass Pendant of Psyche & Cupid with Large Faux Pearl Drop
This vintage glass pendant of amber glass depicts Psyche and her lover, Cupid, and is finished with a large faux pearl drop. The reverse intaglio image (cut into the back) is 7/8" high and 7/8" wide. The capped faux pearl is 1" high and the total height of the pendant is 2 7/8". The pendant’s bale resembles the swivel used on watch fobs. That design when combined with the antique gold-plated finish gives the look of preserved age to his pendant.
The gilt brass paper-clip link neck chain is 20" long. The necklace is in very fine condition and the cut profile on the glass intaglio strongly suggests it was an old European piece that was set into this mid 20th century pendant. For the romantic at heart, this is lovely accent piece that is darling without being dainty.

Dazzling 3-Strand Citrine & Smoky Quartz Cut Crystal Bead Necklace & Earrings
The warm and sparkling tones in this vintage three-strand necklace and matching clip earrings owe to the pure saturation of hues in the Swarovski cut-crystal beads of smoky quartz, citrine, and golden topaz. The strands range from the shortest at 16 ¾" to 20" for the longest strand (both measurements include the hook clasp and beaded extender). The graduated beads go from 8mm to 16mm and each has a Aurora Borealis (AB) finish on one row of facets that give them a reflective iridescence. The cast, gold-plated strand connectors on each are set with AB chatons and one topaz AB facetted oval.
The round earrings are 1" in diameter and use each bead color in a separate tier. The gold-plated clip backs are sturdy; only the ear plates show wear to the finish.
The quality of the Swarovski crystals is evident in the heft and richness of the beads’ colors and the AB finish that reflectw green, pink, and even some amethyst on the smoky quartz beads. There are the expected tiny rough edges on a very few facets but no chips and no wear to the AB finish. The color combination is flattering on any complexion and blends marvelously with any yellow, brown, orange-hued fabric. (I love the contrast of brilliant crystal with heavy tweeds or casual cottons.)

Delicious Vintage Marbled Butterscotch Resin / Lucite Domed Ring
This fabulously large and luscious vintage resin ring has a bold domed shape swirled with butterscotch hues and polished to a high gleam. The ring is ¾" high at the front and tapers to 3/16" in the back. The heft and color as well as the smooth finish strongly suggest Bakelite but I can’t get a positive test result so I will simply tout its rich color, glossy finish and excellent condition and let it glow on that! It’s about size 12 1/2 and super for your index finger when you make dramatic gestures! (I like to wear mine over a sleek glove to really set the mood!) Please see its sister in marbled green!

Big & Bold Vintage Marbled Green Resin / Lucite Polished Dome Ring
This fabulously large and dramatic vintage resin ring has a bold domed shape swirled in green and white and polished to a high gleam. The ring is ¾" high at the front and tapers to 3/16" in the back. The heft and color as well as the smooth finish strongly suggest Bakelite but I can’t get a positive test result so I will simply honor its rich color, glossy finish and excellent condition and let it glow on that! It’s about a size 10 and so perfect for your index finger when you make dramatic gestures! (I like to wear mine over a sleek glove to really set the mood.) Grand 1930's Gilt Brass Leaves Pin with Long Ball Chain Fringes
Swish and sway and shine all day (and night!) in this dramatic 1930’s gilt brass brooch of furled leaves and ball chain fringes. The grand pin is 3 ¼" wide and 4 ¾" long! (The elegant gloved hand is longer than the average woman’s but gives you a good idea of the scale of the brooch.) The leaves have a brilliant yellow gold finish and very fine rib-and-vein detailing. The ball chains have a slightly softer finish and graduate in length to the longest strand in the center. The back of the brooch has a safety clasp pin. This fanciful brooch is in very fine condition with only very tiny specks of oxidation on the leaves and darkening to a few balls. Wear this swingin’ number and you’ll add spring to your step just to keep the chains a-wigglin’!

Ancient Style Greek Coins Long Necklace with Athena's Owl of Wisdom
This vintage designer neck chain has an ornate "wheat grain" intertwined link that is punctuated by four stations of simulated ancient Greek coins. The coins, each about 7/8" in diameter, copy those used in Greece about 400BC. Each is two-side with a raised portrait, the head of a horse, or an owl on each side. The portraits likely depict Greek rulers while the owl symbolizes Athena, the Greek Goddess of wisdom. The coins have a soft, matte gold-plated finish that contrasts nicely with the high polish of the chains. The total length of the necklace is 33" and it slips easily over the head. The necklace has fine quality and is in excellent condition.

1920's Flapper 57-Inch Hand-Knotted Amethyst Glass Beads Necklace
Long and lush in color, this 1920’s era beaded necklace is hand-knotted with transparent deep amethyst purple glass, melon-ribbed beads. This unique 1930’s brass necklace features four drops of brass repousse’ flower clusters from which hang silver-plated, scroll-embossed pendants. Each pendant is 2 1/4" long; the necklace is 16 1/8" in length and closes with a spring-ring clasp. The metals are nicely patinated for an inviting aged look. Art Nouveau Style Multicolor Rhinestone Ball & Brass Drop Earrings
With flashes of color from every angle and swingy Art Nouveau style pendants of brass, these drop earrings will perk up your ears and light up the eyes of admirers. Each earring is just under 2" long; it is 2 1/2" with the ear wire. The rhinestone balls include colors of amethyst, ruby, topaz, aquamarine, sapphire, and emerald. 1930's European Necklace with Smoky Quartz Glass Jewels & Natural Golden Pyrites
This 1930’s European necklace has the Old World style favored in the imitation jeweled pieces of the period and it has an extra surprise: pyrites in their natural golden hue! (What we commonly refer to as faceted marcasites are really a pyrite. True marcasite powders when cut.) The warm glow of the patinated gilt settings enhances the smoky quartz glass faceted jewels and the golden pyrites increase the sparkle even more. (Pyrite is Greek for fire, understandably so!) The necklace is 16 ½" in length; the front section is 5" wide and 1 1/8" deep. All the pyrites are present and firmly collet-set and the glass jewels are transparent and free of scratches. A spring-ring clasp secures the soft gold-hued flat chain of the necklace. This is an unusual combination of materials that makes a lovely vintage compliment to warm earth tone ensembles.

Luxurious Vintage Aqua Faux Jewel & Black Velvet Adjustable Choker Necklace
I love the drama of this vintage faux aquamarine jewel and velvet choker: tie it high or low, with bow ends in back or to the side, or use it as a headband or chignon wrap! The finely made accessory (perhaps from a stage production), is made of large hard plastic, facetted aquamarine jewels (glass would have been too heavy) which are set, open-back, in individual prongs and invisibly sewn to the black velvet tube. The choker portion is wired too, so it hugs your neck without pinching and has a straight line on the neck. The choker portion is a little over 12" in length and the total length is about 52". The width is about ¾". The jewels have such sparkle, you’d swear they were lead crystal—these 1930’s simulants are so beguiling! This unique choker is in excellent condition and I know you’ll find a number of ways to employ its flattering form!

High-Quality Vintage 3-Strand GLASS Pearls Bracelet with Rhinestone Clasp
This impressive vintage glass-pearl bracelet has three warm blush-tone strands of 7mm rounds, hand-knotted, and clasped with rhinestones. Lovely! The bracelet is 7 ½" long and just under 1" wide with the strands touching each other. Both ends of each strand are gold bullion-wrapped—a laborious technique that was rarely used outside of Europe. These tiny wire coils protect the thread within from wearing and tearing on the findings. The box clasp has a patterned lattice back and the front is cast with diagonal ribbed designs on the outer bars; in the center are three rhinestone chatons and the ends have golden bosses (domes). The tabbed push-tab stays in place till you want it out, it is reliable!
Although unmarked, the bracelet is very fine quality. I have found that many better costume pieces are unsigned—one should collect and wear what one likes and I appreciate them just as much as the named pieces. The pearls here have gorgeous luster and the rhinestones reflect superbly in the bracelet and it has no damage. And, sure, you can tell admirers its costume, but, you don’t have to….

Victorian Revival Silver-Tone, Hinged Bangle with Acanthus Leaf Appliques
This vintage silver toned hinged bangle was designed in the Victorian Revival style and features an elongated acanthus leaf appliqué on each side. The bangle measures 5/8" where the leaves spread beyond the bangle’s edges; the inner diameter across the width of the oval is 2 ¼". The finish on the leaves is permanently treated to resemble that of an antique; the interior has an even luster. The push-clasp is reinforced with a safety chain with spring-ring clasp. This circa 1955 bangle is in excellent condition.

1930's ART DECO Emerald Crystal Eternity / Line Bracelet
This 1930’s line bracelet is set with square-cut emerald crystals in a continuous, fluid line that adds a grace note to the wrist. The bracelet is 7 1/8" long and 3/16" wide. Each crystal is set in a deep, open-backed bezel with Art Deco zigzag patterns on the sides. The closure is a slim box-clasp. There is only one corner scratch on a single stone, otherwise, the condition is great. A classic bracelet style that will easily work in the 2030’s too!
