Vintage Faux Coral ROSES Garland & Faux Pearl Necklace Sharply molded petals and leaves give the molded plastic roses and foliage of this 1950’s vintage necklace the look of "real" without the price or fragility. The linked sections forming the floral garland measure 3 7/8" wide by 1 ¼" deep. Deep relief full-bloom roses, plump leaves, and tiny faux pearls are set symmetrically within two lengths of gold-plated serpentine chain. (The roses and leaves don’t vary in color quite as much as appears in the images.) The total inner measurement of the necklace is 16 ¾" and it closes with a box clasp.
The condition is wonderful, unworn and the color is very cheery and flattering to any complexion.

Old Stock Jet Black Pave' Rhinestone, Prong-Set, Clip Earrings These old-stock jet black rhinestone pave’ earrings measure 1" by 1" and have a domed surface that enhances the reflections of the cut glass, prong-set stones. The stones are set in gunmetal finish so the effect is dark yet sparkling through.

The clip findings have somewhat mottled finish with a secure, comfortable grip. These are never-worn, from the wholesaler old-stock and in wonderful condition.

Perky 1960's MOD CHRISTMAS Tree Pin, Multicolor Rhinestones This tall 1960’s Christmas tree pin is set with vibrant fuchsia, royal blue, and green chatons in a lattice work of gold-plated diamonds. The cheery tree is 2 5/8" tall and is topped with a large aurora borealis chaton. An unsigned beauty, the pin has a safety clasp and is in excellent condition.

Vintage LARGE Faceted WATERMELON Glass Jewel & Silver Metal Clip Earrings Large and luscious, these vintage watermelon faceted glass jewel earrings are set in oxidized silver mountings to really offset the vibrant hues of the stones. Each earring is 1 ¼" high by 1" wide and is an impressive 3/8" deep.

The stones flash violet, blue and green from the outer facets and lime, yellow, peach and fuchsia closer to the center. The textured, dark silver metal settings have prongs to secure the stones and brass earring clips. One stone has a bit of foil loss on the lower center, not obvious (earring on right in angled view). The overall effect is dazzling and the size surely is hard to miss! This kind of stone was used frequently by Elsa Schiaparelli in her fabulous costume jewelry but this pair is not signed, could be designer but without a matching brooch or bracelet, one can’t be sure. On their own, they are still a "statement" for the ears and a way to introduce nearly every color into your ensemble!

1920's Fancy Brass Dress CLIP with Natural River PEARL & Luster Glass Jewels I am such a fan of dress clips for their versatility and this one is especially fancy with faceted silver-luster glass and a genuine river pear on the layered rose-gilt pierced frame. The pink-gold brass, shield-shape clip is 1 ½" high by 1 ¼" wide. An applied daisy is further topped with a center holding seven luster-glass stones—these have the rose-cuts of marcasites and a silver finish over black glass. The applied leaves beneath slay above a prong-set half-cut, river pearl.

The patina on the clip is very rich and contrasts nicely with the silver luster and black glass so you can wear the clip with either gold or silver vintage jewels equally well. Condition is very fine with only slight wear to the luster on the glass jewels. The fancy clip back has a secure mechanism. I enjoy putting dress clips on chains as well as on the centers of necklines, on pockets, scarves, hats, and even cuffs.

Flirty Blue Cut Glass Intaglio DECO Basket Pendant Necklace A lovely blue reverse-molded basket of flowers is depicted in this 1920’s Art Deco style pendant necklace. Though of more recent vintage (with the excellent condition to accompany it), this dainty 1" long, bezel-edged pendant has fine detail and luscious color. It hangs from a 1/20K gold-filled chain with unique fold-over clasp. In perfect condition and ideal for wearing with feminine, drapey styles and floral prints.  

Vintage Victorian Style Hematite Glass CAMEO & Tassel Pin This multi-tiered Victorian Revival style pin has an antiqued gold finish and features a hematite glass cameo of a lovely young woman with ringlets and bandeau. The measurements are 3 ¼" height by 1 ¾" width.

The top has a pierced design with a circle holding a jet black rhinestone. The central medallion holding the cameo has foliate accents and four rhinestones. The tassel at the bottom is made of antiqued chains.

The pin has a safety clasp and is in wonderful condition. It has the style of Florenza or Art but is not signed although there is a blank plaque on the back.

C1920 Carved Coral Floral Glass & Gilt Brass Filigree Long Drop Earrings It’s always a treat to find period pendant earrings in pristine condition—unaltered and lovingly cared for—and these circa 1920 faux coral and gilt brass drop style earrings are "just the ticket" for the woman who likes lacy Edwardian or fancy early Deco styles. Each earring is 2 3/8" long by 11/16 wide. The carved-look coral flower plaques are molded glass, most likely Bohemian / Czechoslovakian. They are finely detailed—you can even see the veins on the tiny leaves.

The gilt brass pierced settings have mille-grain "beaded" finishes. The adjustable screw-top findings are slim and comfortable. The pair is in superb, unworn condition.

Vintage FRENCH Rhinestone STANHOPE Cross Pendant Necklace Perhaps made for the French or French Canadian market, this vintage cross pendant necklace has a Stanhope inset of the Lord’s Prayer in French and is set with glittering blue-green aurora borealis rhinestones. The 1 7/8" high, silver-plated cross has open-centered arms and a raised center which holds the Stanhope orb. The prayer starts with "NOTRE PERE, commun a tous les chretiens, Notre Pere, que es aux cieux."
The cross hangs from a 24" silver-plated curb link chain with spring-ring clasp. The necklace is in excellent, unworn condition. If you speak French, wish to learn it, or would like a special gift for a friend who does know the language, this vintage devotional pendant is a lovely way to keep the Lord’s Prayer close and in bejeweled light!

Vintage Victorian Style Layered LAPIS Glass & Beaded Balls Pin This Victorian style layered brooch places a raised glass cabochon simulating lapis lazuli in the center and surrounds it with marquises of beaded blue mountings for a design with layered luxe. The pin measures 1 7/8" across, 1 7/8" high and 11/16" deep.

The oval cabochon has copper flecks simulating the inclusions found in natural lapis. It is set in a fancy dog-tooth mounting over a filigree plaque which floats about the marquises of individually set blue balls. The background plaque has a stamped pattern of concentric arcs and a stamped beaded edge.

The pin secures with a safety clasp. The design and construction look Austrian or West German but the piece is not signed. It is, however, in excellent condition. Try it at a high collar or lapel, or even on a wide ribbon around the neckline in the Victorian manner!

Vintage RETRO Rings, Rhinestones and Golden Mesh Necklace This sleek stunner combines supple golden mesh with concentric rings and adds a bit of dazzle with rhinestones to create a Retro style piece that harkens to the Cocktail Era of the 1940s. Two tubular rings, the larger is 1 ½" in diameter, and a smaller flat ring with brilliant, channel-set crystal rhinestones, are bound by a vertical band, indented in the center. This ornament is 1 11/16" high and the overall length of the necklace is 15 ¼" on the inner edge. The mesh strands are stamped with raised ribs and taper from 5/8" at the front to 3/8" at the back where they meet at a box clasp.

The necklace is wonderful condition and probably dates to the 1970s. A little sassy but elegant enough to be classy too—day or evening, this is a versatile and stylish necklace.

3-Strands Chocolate BAKELITE BEADS Necklace with Novelty Clasp This vintage necklace is made of three strands of marbled Bakelite beads in various shades of chocolate brown, yum! The center strand is made of graduated "milk chocolate" beads with medium golden swirls and beads that range from 5 to 12mm; the two other strands are strung with dark chocolate 7mm beads. All the strands are strung on two lengths of dark brown cord.

The Bakelite beads are interspersed with translucent glass seed beads. Brass connectors join the three stands near the clasp. This half-dome clasp has a concealed hook on the back which allows you to slip it over the extender chain on the opposite side of the necklace. When you do so, the beads fall evenly on each side of your neck for a finished look. (If you have a dress with a low-cut back, you could even reverse the beads!) All the strands test positive as Bakelite, the milk chocolate beads a little more strongly.

1930's Gloved Hand & Black Enameled Dahlia Flower Pin A hand offering a flower has long been a popular decorative motif in glassware, porcelain and jewelry—this example from the 1930’s is in gilt brass and enamel and measures 1 15/16" wide by 1 3./8" high. The gloved hand has spades embossed on the cuff. The glossy black dahlia (hmm--what does this symbolize in the language of flowers?) has a prong-set rhinestone in the center.

The Victorian style pin is secured with a C clasp and is in lovely condition.
