Oh, wouldn’t it be magical to have a pair of Edwardian ruffled slipper shoes to wear on special days? Well, for those of us too young to have enjoyed the originals, this vintage gold-plated shoe pin is a very pretty substitute. The 2 5/8" long shoe is deeply cast with a fancy buckle, perforated toe ornamentation, and layers of ruffles at the throat. This captivating slipper was probably made in the last 15 years in the style popular around 1910-1920. The pin secures with a safety clasp and is in excellent, brilliant condition—t’will never need a polish and will add style to any modern blouse or jacket. |
