With a modernist interpretation of ancient pre-Columbian motifs, this mid-century Mexican sterling silver brooch has a bold look. The round form is 2" in diameter and with the five dangles measures 2 ˝" long. Oxidized triangles rim the border of the pierced geometric center element. The brooch has three stamps on the reverse: Sterling; Cuernavaca MOR with the maker’s monogram of BSP; and Hecho en Mexico .925. The pin closes with a safety clasp. This thoughtfully hand-formed vintage piece is in very fine condition. |
