This enigmatic cat pin was inspired by an ancient Egyptian artwork in the collection at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. This round-bodied sterling silver cat is 1 5/8" tall and ½" deep at the belly. The face has inset eyes and a peaked nose; perky ears top the simple form.

The back of the pin has the "MFA Sterling" tag and a safety clasp pin. A unique and revered form in Egyptian art, this charming piece of "modern antiquity" will garner many a compliment!
