A glistening surface of basse taille enamel brings a lifelike appearance to this circa 1915 sterling pin. It measures 1 5/8" wide and 1 3/8". The orchid has white petals accented with cobalt and amethyst enamel; the concave center is an aqua-green.

The open sterling frame supports the flower without overwhelming it. The pin is stamped "Sterling" on the flower and twice on the frame and closes with safety clasp. This Edwardian botanical beauty is in excellent condition!
