This lovely and large romantic 1930’s Victorian Revival pendant necklace features a porcelain plaque illustrating two 18th century lovers in the style of the great masters of fine art. The octagonal pendant is brass with black enamel accents highlighting the stamped design and measures 2 ˝" long and 1 7/8" wide. The porcelain plaque has the look of a hand-painted miniature on ivory and shows the woman reading poetry to her enraptured suitor as they sit side-by-side in the garden. The pendant hangs from a 24" long brass chain with spring ring. This delightful early 20th century necklace is in wonderful condition. |
