Exceptional clarity in the cut lead-crystal chatons, a unique tiered pendant design and WHITE gold-filled settings make this circa 1930 Art Deco necklace quite special. The front section is 2" wide and 2 ¼" deep with draped chains of crystal on each side of the large pear-cut center stone. Five drops of crystal chain hang below, the center is set with a large chaton. All the stones are in prong-set in cups, open-backed, and reflect brilliantly. The total length is 14 1/2" and the clasp is a fancy box style with prong-set stones; it is stamped on the side "1/20 12K G.F." This glittering Flapper Era necklace is in excellent condition. |
