A clever combination of natural carved banded gemstone beads (most likely agate) and striated oval disks of Lucite acrylic give this vintage Miriam Haskell necklace elegance and wit. The 29" long necklace has 8mm cream/café au lait banded agate beads interspersed with Russian gold-plated facetted brass beads. The two Lucite disks are joined to chunky gold-plated oval links. The necklace closes with the signed Haskell slide clasp and also has the stamped oval tag. This late 1970’s vintage Haskell necklace is in very fine condition.
