| Oh, my, how do I describe this fantastical 1970’s pendant necklace simply? It’s three tiers of imaginary horse-like creatures with fanned tails and scrolled accents that I \ suggest an Asian flavor. The antiqued silver-plated pendant is 3 ¾" wide at the top and falls 6" deep. The elaborate curling "stripes" of the creatures are cast into the bodies and have textured finishes. I would bet they’d take very well to enamel or paints if you wish to create your own psychedelic masterpiece! The two lengths of interwoven chain when combined with the width of the pendant give the necklace an inner diameter of 19 ½"; the clasp is the spring-ring style. Not signed but significant for sure, this wild vintage necklace is in excellent condition. |
