This fabulous jeweled insect ring was made by the 1928 Jewelry Company as part of their contemporary Art Deco style line called 2028. The oversized jet black faceted oval jewel is set in a 1 5/8" high mount. It’s made of very hard acrylic resin and has a super glossy finish. The jewel is topped with a gold-plated dragonfly with cognac rhinestone eye that has swopped in from the side.

The ring is a size 8 (the card was mismarked 6 so I tested it) and it was made in the USA. As you can see, this discontinued model is in original, unworn condition and retails for $38. If you like big, bold deco rings you’ll surely enjoy this winged ring!
