This antique Victorian era stickpin is made of cast 14K rose or pink gold and set with a small cabochon as well as six tiny seed pearls. The pin length is 2 3/8" and the flower head is 7/16" wide. The petals were patinated to enhance the whiteness of the pearls.

The polished opal sphere has very fine fire and color dispersion. The pin shaft has a fine incised spiral along its length to better grip fine silk cravats or lace scarves. There is no maker’s mark on this circa 1890 stickpin but it does test as 14K gold. The condition is very fine and the quality of the gold work in this dainty Victorian piece is as well.
