A distinctive oval link of two "waves" joined by soldered rings is repeated in this continuous 33 ½" long sterling silver Modernist style necklace. Each link measures 1 ¾" (including one end ring) and about 5/8" wide and has a brushed exterior surface (not glaring to the eye and conceals any minor scuff very well). The open style gives this studio-crafted artwork a lightness of spirit and allows the garment beneath to show through, as splashes of color on a passing wave. The necklace is not signed or marked but tests as sterling purity. It is in very fine condition and makes a bold punctuation mark on a simple top or dress. |
